Visited this small but perfectly formed theatre to see the “Intellectual Hooligans”.

Theatre itself is great, right in the centre of the town. Car park across road behind shops or park at railway, free after 6pm

Set up is great inside, bar for ordering half time drinks and then actual auditorium is tiered with comfortable seats so you will have a great view.

Intellectual Hooligans were okay, some really good at improv some not so good. Games were a bit convoluted but others were good. The shouts from audience were kind of hogged by on group of guys. Guess folk on stage were happy to get shouts from anywhere but it got a bit annoying

Super little theatre. We saw Wait Until Dark performed by a repertory company and very good it was too. I loved the staging, excellent for a small production ,the show was well acted too. My ticket was waiting at the desk on arrival. I had time to have a glass of Pimms in the cafe/bar which was very refreshing in this unbelievably hot weather. The staff were lovely the loos clean and I really appreciated the intimacy of the venue. Definitely recommend.

Watched a showing of a live filmed stage performance of Kinky Boots. A real treat in these unusual times that we are living in. The Little Theatre did everything to keep us safe, socially distanced and as near as possible normal evening, including pre performance drinks and interval icecream.

Outstanding - don't miss this
Sheringham Youth Theatre's production of Fiddler on the Roof this week is absolutely a must see if you appreciate great musical theatre. The singing, acting and choreography are of such high quality . Vocal maturity and stage presence seemingly beyond the youthful years of the cast made this event worthy of the standing ovation given by the audience. Hats off to the stage and musical directors and every other person who has contributed to a show that even rivals last year's production of Les Miserables. Finishes Saturday 11th April.

Went to see the musical "Stepping Out ". Great little theatre with well placed seating so a good view for all. Refreshments available in the interval at a reasonable price. It makes a lovely evening out. Well worth a visit.

We block book all the plays at the theatre during the holiday season, absolutely brilliant this year so well done to the cast.
The only bugbear is that the theatre is always very cold no matter what time of year - Why ?? so you have to wrap up well.

Lovely scones too.

Beauty and the Beast.
Never been to this little theatre in Sheringham , so thought we would give the panto a try .
For such a small place they put on a big show . It was great , we don’t have little kids anymore so on our own but with families all around us . Loved it , traditional with some lovely modern twists . Involved the audience and just reminded me of a real traditional panto , although was a little unsure about Beauty and the Beast as a panto but it was played out wonderfully .
May become an annual “must”
Well done everyone .

The Sheringham Youth Theatre production of Fiddler on the Roof was brilliant! Having a break in Cromer, we attended the first night of the production, and if this was to set the standard it couldn't have been any better. The young man who played Tevye should be given an award for such outstanding talent at such a young age (he was 19 I believe), and the rest of the cast were great as well. Thanks to the outstanding performance of the whole cast, our theatre enjoyment has been re-kindled. Fantastic!!!

In the past, over many years, my family, friends and I have seen great plays here. However, this summer, the experience was far less good. At times the staff were rude, the hearing loop didn't work, which embarrassed the theatre volunteers at least, the management systems around ticketing didn't work, and the response of the theatre management was complacent.

Not only that but one of the plays we saw in the usually good summer rep, Neville's Island, was viewed by all in our party, from teenagers to 80s, as unsuitable for holiday rep. In particular, it treated suicide, depression, loneliness, and other quite serious issues rather flippantly. The actors spent the whole play shouting, thus distorting their voices for those hard of hearing. I have never seen such lacklustre applause after a play there.

This has been, perhaps still is, a fine local theatre. But our experiences this summer cause us to wonder about its direction.

We're always eager to hear feedback from our audiences, and these views will always be taken into account when we review our previous season and consider plans for new productions. This is especially true when it comes to the themes and contents of our plays, as this helps us to tailor future seasons more accordingly. It's my understanding that this particular customer purchased several tickets to a performance and arrived on the wrong date, missing the show. While we'll always do what we can during instances like this - like virtually all theatres, cinemas and other performance venues - we're unable to offer refunds if customers don't turn up on the night. The curtain was held for 10 minutes on the night in anticipation of their arrival, as we could see the tickets had been digitally purchased. No phone number was provided for us to make contact. Our ticketing system is operated through tickets.com, which is used widely by venues due to its reliability and clarity. While this incident is of course unfortunate, we'll always do everything within our power to make sure that customers have an enjoyable and memorable experience here at the theatre.

The Little Theatre is one of Sheringham's gems and when staying in the town we repeatedly visit to see films and plays there. There is also a very good Cafe where you can have a drink and a bite whilst watching the world go by outside. Staff are friendly and helpful and caste in the plays are of a very high standard giving their most for your enjoyment, so can understand why they have appreciative audiences.
