About Temples Seal Trips & Blakeney Point
Daily boat trips from Morston quay to see the seals on Blakeney Point in their natural environment. We are on the north Norfolk coast (A149), with our ticket office in the Anchor Pub. We are a family run business, comprising boats and pub, and love the chance to share our unique way of life. Blakeney point is also internationally famous for migrant birds, an amazing breeding and feeding ground for terns, oystercatchers, ringed plover, and many more. A must for all bird lovers. Seals are in their abundance, Common and Grey, with pups being born summer and winter. Nov and Dec are notable for their thousands of seals along the shore, a truly spectacular sight. We are a happy bunch, with lots of information to share, and with a true passion for the area. The pub has been in the family for over 100 years, and the boats have been started up and run by the Temple family for well over 70 years. Our skippers are exceptional in their ability and experience. We hope to see you!

First time on the seal trip and loved it. We thought Derek and Zak were very informative, Dereks jokes were also a highlight! 😂 The trip out to see the seals was good and we spent quite a while taking photographs and ‘sealfies’ (TM Derek)....More

Although we have visited Morton Quay many times, a seal trip was always on the ‘to do’ list. We chose Temples on this occasion as out of the three trip providers they were the only ones offering to land and spend an hour on Blakeney...More

We took this trip yesterday and had an amazing time. It’s a lovely half an hour trip out to the seals, where the guide tells you lots of interesting facts about the area, and then about 20 mins looking at the seals. We were lucky...More

Really enjoyed the boat trip. We took the trip to see the seals and then were dropped off at Blakeney Point for an hour. Its well worth making the ~15 minute walk to the beautiful north shore. We saw a few more seals playing around...More

My mum had the adventure of the holiday seeing the 100s of seals of Blakeney point in Norfolk. The only boat which is wheelchair friendly, the skippers jointly lifted the wheelchair onto the boat, safely and carefully. She was higher up and could see them...More

Fun morning out with teenagers to Blakeney Point to see seals. Unfortunately the high winds meant we couldn't land as originally planned but still a good trip. Skipper and crew very knowledgeable and friendly

Well organised trip on their boat that seats 50 persons. Trip lasted an hour on the boat, without the additional hour on Blakenany. The captain was quite entertaining, and gave useful information. You get up close to the seals. Very good. At £13 for the...More

If you are visiting the area, with children or without, then plan to see the seals with Temples as your priority. We were supposed to land on the point, but unfortunately high winds prevented this. We instead had much more time looking at the seals...More
