Visited Pensthorpe with friends and had a wonderful day out. There is a vast variety of gardens, woodland and wetlands, so many different species of birdlife it is a fascinating place to visit. The restaurant food is of good quality and there is a range of snacks and drinks all reasonably priced. There is also a gift shop and small... More

This place is a great day out and deserves the awards it has received. It occupies many acres and has wetlands, woodlands and beautiful meadows. It has the gin clear Wensum strolling through it. You can often see trout moving about on many stretches. The bird life is overwhelming in scope. The gardens are up there with the best in... More

Came here with my 5 year old for a day out in August. We paid extra to take the ride around the grounds which was beautiful and fascinating and my boy loved using the binoculars and spotting the things on his sheet!! The park itself is very big, beautiful and has lots to see and explore. The children's playground is... More

This was our first visit to pensthorpe as we were on holiday near by and we wasn't disappointed, was a lovely day out plenty to see and plenty of walks and so much wildlife to see. We had lunch at the cafe and the food was very nice and staff were friendly. Would recommend a visit here.

This is an amazing day out if you love birds and butterflies. The gardens are stunning and there are lots of waymarked paths by a river, through trees and alongside lakes. We did not have children with us but the outdoor and indoor play areas are first class and quite different. The owners have done a brilliant job of improving... More

We debated whether or not to go, because the the entry price seemed steep for 'just a country park'. But I'm really glad we did go, because it is more than just a country park. We had a lovely walk collecting the stamps, which my 3 year old handed in to get a badge. We saw some wonderful wildlife and... More

We went here as a family to try something new , the park was fantastic for kids and the sights were nice but not a lot for children we walked about very quickly before going to the park area , the food looked nice as passing the cafe but that along with the day was a bit priced.

What a beautiful place! The birds were amazing and the gardens stunning. Easy walking and great for our little one to run around and feed the ducks! The staff were fantastic. We ate lunch in the restaurant which was fresh and tasty. Our only negatives were that the children's pasta was very oily (but tasty!) and we couldn't locate any... More

Visited for my 21st birthday with my girlfriend and spent almost the entire day there walking around the site! Enjoyed watching the birds being fed at the end of the day and being able to feed some ourselves. I thoroughly enjoyed coming here, and I would have loved to have come to a place like this when I was a... More
