Visited Pensthorpe with 12 year old granddaughter. I had not been for many years, but things really have changed. Easy to park, had to wait briefly to be admitted, but made very welcome by the staff and all questions answered competently and cheerfully. Plenty of waterside walks, play area which was a cut above most I have seen. We did... More

We spent a full day at Pensthorpe with 2 young children. The gardens and lakes are beautiful and filled with interesting plants, insects and birds. The kids absolutely loved the outdoor play areas which were large and inventive and more challenging than most playgrounds.

At the end of our first visit here we purchased annual membership. Already worth the money within a month. My daughter is 6 and loves it here, we've introduced friends and family and they agree. Fantastic value for money indoor/outdoor play and beautiful gardens with different trails to keep the children interested. Staff are fantastic. Can't say enough good things... More

Have not been to this reserve for two years and noticed changes made in that time, the play area/equipment for children looked fantastic - something for all ages up to teenagers - an extension to one or two walk areas which were impressive. Most birds are accustomed to the visitors so were up close on the walking paths. The water... More

We currently have season tickets for this park so I try to make the most it. The children love the outdoor play area as well as Hootz House which is a new indoor play area. The walks are wonderful and the shops and restaurants very reasonable. The only downside is the sudden rise in prices that mean I probably won't... More

As we live in a very large county finding somewhere to meet can be quite hard but Pensthorpe is just that place We meet up at 1.30 had the most leisurely stroll around the most gorgeous grounds admitting the bird life which was plentiful This was topped off by afternoon tea. This was amazing value and freshly prepared. Would strongly... More

Pensthorpe is a must see if holidaying in north Norfolk. The beautiful surroundings are peaceful and yet vibrant. There is something here for everybody old and young alike. The play areas for the children are amazing and the garden walks stunning, the forest walks are serene and the animals - just great!! We will return!

Pensthorpe has been expanding in the last two years and still retains it's individualistic charms. As well as those birds which the twitchers appreciate, the kids will love one of the best outside play areas there is and the food maintains its high standards. Staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable unlike some of the ducks.

We have just spent the day at Pensthorpe. What a fantastic time we had as a family. I agree with the previous reviews, in that the children's play areas both indoors and outdoors are brilliant. What is also great is that there are some unusual pieces of play equipment which provided an 8 and 9 year old with some new... More
