We returned here after visiting three years ago, and there have been lots of changes including a soft play barn and additions to the children's play area. Pensthorpe has a great mix of beautiful gardens, water fowl and lakes alongside some fun children's trails and an excellent play area. The play barn time was included in the price, but limited... Pensthorpe has evolved over the years into a wonderful place to visit to see in particular birds close up.As a nature lover I feel it is important that children in particular can get close to wild life, especially the birds, many they will not have seen before. The grounds and gardens are wonderful, even on a busy day you can... More

Really amazing indoor and outdoor play facilities for children from toddlers to teens. Restaurant, Snack Bars, great gift shop. Hour long safari ride available several times each day. Easy parking. Long and short routes... More

We visited for the first time on Sunday with our 2 daughters aged 6 & 2. The weather was hot, the car park looked reasonably busy but it's such a large park that everyone was well spread out and it didn't feel busy at all. I must admit we spent most of the day in the two play areas, in... More

Had a brilliant afternoon here. The walks were lovely and my 89 year old mother managed them well. I would advise anyone going to have the insect bite cream ready as the midges were out in force.

Visited Pensthorpe last week whilst on holiday in Cromer. Wonderful walks around the lakes and river Wensum. Plenty of amazing scenery and the gardens are so beautiful, just a riot of colour. Lots of wading birds and a hide where you can watch close up various birds feeding just feet away from you. Lots of seats available to rest and... More
