They do trips with husky wagons in the summer months when the snow is too watery for it to be fun; the main office is about 10 mins walk from the Cruise Terminal (they can probably pick up; they certainly did from the hotel), and the Huskey park in Adventsdalen is about 15 mins drive away. Really amazing experience, friendly guides and lovely dogs. If possible take some time at the end to get to know the dogs, help feed them and look at the puppies.

I went on a Quark Arctic cruise in July 2018 (reviewed separately). I arrived in Longyearbyen on a Saturday afternoon - the flight was delayed out of Oslo so instead of arriving around 2pm we were delayed more than an hour and by the time we all got on the Quark bus and got dropped off an checked in, pretty much everything in Longyearbyen was shut for the day.
