A good way to see the local area. We took as an opportunity to see places of interest that we liked along the way so that we could return to explore at a later date, at our leisure. As well enjoying the sights and landmarks along the route. The length of the tour is supposedly an hour and 40 minute tour, this does vary due to traffic conditions. When we travelled on the train it was not very busy  hardly any stops, so a little shorter than anticipated. The adult fare was €12.90 (slightly different from brochure price), this reduces to €10 after 17.50. Our journey took us through narrow streets of Analipsi, Anisara, Old Hersonissos, the Port of Hersonissos and the City. We also took the coast road, we passed a number of very nice beaches. Seats a bit hard, and roads were a bit bumpy in places, at times a bone shaking ride, but overall enjoyable. A bit of fun and enjoyment for all ages.

It finally turned up almost an hour late. The driver was very abrupt saying he wanted the exact change. Once on, the terror begun. It seemed he was in a real rush with us starting by totally missing out stop 27. He didnt drive down that far as he just turned around in stella village. We went on our route, not being able to see where we were going, as we were going so fast, I couldn't make out any of the location signs for the train stops The speed was dangerously fast, and I was actually scared for the safety of my family. What made matters worse, was that the driver was on his mobile phone for much of the journey. Even at some real dangerous junctions, he still maintained his phone to his ear. I even took a couple of photos to prove this. You will see in the picture he was turning left on a busy road, but in the close up, he was still on the phone. I listened to a conversation, with some other customers, and they were unhappy because they missed their stop as he drove straight past it. Towards the end of the journey he cut the journey short again and at stop 25 he stopped and said Stella Village, get of here. "Sorry". So we had to walk the rest. We were hot, sticky and then told to walk the rest of the jourmey. From start to finish, the journey should have taken 1hr 40 minutes, and he made it round in less than an hour

1 hour 40 minutes tour around the countryside. It’s ok if you want to kill time. No commentary. It’s not hop on hop off. Only stops at scheduled key locations marked with a star on the map. Otherwise stops to pick up passengers which is only when you can get off. No stopping if no one waiting to get on. No announcements as to which number stop you are approaching. Numb bum at the end of the trip. Cash only no credit card. 12.90Euro per adult is not value for money.

A pleasant afternoon spent on this tour, reasonable price all in all. Only 'complaint' was that we were a little confused as to where to get off in Hersonissos itself (but when we got there it was obvious) and having stopped off in Old Hersonissos the train we were going to catch shot passed us 5 minutes early whilst we were less than a minute from the designated stop and as no one else was waiting kept going!! This meant another 30 minute wait which was a little annoying.
