I did not like this safari tour experience at all!
Our group was composed of 3 couples including me and my girlfriend.
After brief instructions, the guide assigned two new fully equipped quads to the two couples and gave me a tiny quad which was not comfortable at all and not powerful.
I told him that there was a huge difference between the new quads and the one that I had and I asked for a better one.
He did not care and said that the small one was the best one (which was obviously false) After struggling with him, he gave me another one, a little bit bigger but broken all over (trunk broken, the quad kept stalling, broken shell with duck tape)
I was really upset before the tour even started!
As for the tour itself, the guide drives VERY slowly and does not want you to have fun.
In addition, we spend 50% of the time on the road, which contradicts what is said on their website (only 20% road)
When off-road, we crossed some olive trees with a lot of grasshopper jumping in our face non stop!
If you are scared of these insects it will be a total nightmare for you!
To conclude, you basically alternate between road driving (50% of the time) and off-road driving where you have to avoid insects!
It was a really awful experience that I cannot recommend !

1/ The smallest Quad we have is 310cc (for the light weight persons, "like you are" and 600cc for the heavier persons) and also for the one you have paid for.
2/ You knew from the begining that we will not make the morning tour 80% off road because of the heat wave, but the beautifull Sunset tour instead, started at 16:00.
3/ There were none grasshoppers anywhere. If you read our website and our brochures you will read about the little cicadas ( no dangerously at all ) but you never listen to your guide either, talking about them.
4/ We ask you many times to return back and finish your tour because of your not behave and respect the other couples (which they enjoy the tour) but you say NO
5/ The Guide, my friend, is responsible for every one (its not you), has to finish the Tour (not racing event as you think) and return back every one nice and safe with out any problems.
P.S. sorry if we disturb your chance to prove your girlfriend how "good" driver you are. Thank you for this nice review, you are very nice.

So please we went on the Sunset quad tour in hersonisoss, it’s a family run business, there’s many close by but believe me you won’t beat this tour, Andreas the owner was our guide, the quads may be bit older than some others offering this service but his knowledge being a local born was brilliant, his English was great, included in tour around the mountains was a stop at a taverna in the middle of no where having some local grown tapas etc then to the beach for the sunset which was beautiful and something that’s not mentioned is seeing loads of small turtles and we got to feed them with bread, before we went back he took us for a drive by of some beautiful expensive beach front hotels, don’t be drawn in by other firms offering new quad bikes, this family business goes beyond what you will expect

10/10 experience. We had the most amazing time and would recommend for everyone to do! The host - Andreas - was absolutely amazing, very friendly and showed us the best views of the island. Really good quad bike experience and fab food, we loved it 👍🏼

A few years ago we(me and my friends) done off road Quad Safri with Andreas, and since then this adventures experience became one of 'Must Do's' when we visit Crete ( and other Greek Islands) !
ATV Safari offers you a perfect mix of adventure: nature experience, and cultural disclosure! At my last trip I was able to see some amazing spring plants (flowers) , the ones I haven't seen before and never less, I was able to photograph them .Also was very lovely to meet few locals with big smiles ,and warm hearts .
Biggest THANKS to Andreas ( tour organiser and leader) whom made our day special: made us feel safe and comfortable; patiently answered to all our questions ( even silly ones) and made our trip ( and all holiday) like an unforgettable experience witch one will last for lifetime!

A big Thanks is not enough.

Went on the morning tour today and we had an amazing time. Andreas was our very lovely guide. His passion for Crete and expertise of the quads are second to none. The lunch was delicious 😋. I would recommend the tour to everyone even though I now have dust in places where it shouldn't be 🤣🤣

We absolutely LOVED our quad safari. This is without a doubt the best activity you can do while in Crete!! Andres is so knowledgeable about the area and was a fantastic teacher on the quads.
This was my second time on the trip and I still left stunned by how beautiful the tour was and so excited from using the quads.

This was a highlight of the holiday we went as a group of 8 ages from 9yrs-43yrs and we all loved it. Andreas was amazing the light lunch was beautiful in a stunning location. We were lucky enough to see eagles and vultures! Would recommend to anyone got to see parts of the island we would of never seen

What an incredible day we had , Andreas the guide took us on amazing journey up through the Cretan mountainside with some of the most amazing views . The tour was over 5 hours and 65km . I would highly recommend this tour if you ever get the chance , you will not regret it . Thank you again Andreas

A fantastic experience quad biking in and around the hills of Hersonissos, over 65km of quad biking experienced, much of it off road. Andreas was a great guide and host, taking us to and through little villages off the beaten track and stopped for a lovely lunch in one of them. Highly recommend this experience if you want to get away from the swimming pool for a day. Thank you Andreas.

Andreas was a great guide on our quad bike mountain tour. It was our first time but Andreas made us feel at ease. Also we didn't have much availability for this tour (plus it's the beginning of the season) and Andreas accommodated us even though it meant us having a private tour (just me and my husband, and Andreas).
We had a great time, both of us got to drive and that meant we could both enjoy it as much. We stopped at different points of the journey for sightseeing and visiting small villages in the mountains. The off road experience was amazing and Andreas always offered guidance and reassurance.
We visited a cafe in one of the villages and enjoyed an astonishing view and local food including cheese, cucumber, tomato, bread, meat and a delicious dessert - quince.
We were lucky to have Andreas as a guide - he shared a lot of Cretan traditions and costumes with us - you can tell he's very passionate about what he does and the places he takes us too on the tour.

Hallo. Am besten vorher einmal kurz anrufen oder eine Mail schreiben. Manchmal kann es zur Hauptsaison sehr voll werden. Die Tour wird aber mehrmals die Woche angeboten.

The price is per person on a quad for 2 persons over 300cc, and you can both drive if you own car driving license. In the price include (tour guide, vehicle, insurance, petrol, safety equipment, lunch, V.A.T.) You can book it any time you want 5-2 days before the tour. The cost with or without a driving licence is the same, (95 euro).
Dependent of the time you want to book it, Then it can be offered from 55-75 euro per person. You can see about this on our website.

Go Xplore tours is profession to Quad Safari tours. But we have licence also to organize other tours.
The Santorini tour from Creta is being organized from 3 companies in Creta. One off them is "Candia Mar s.a." who we work with the last 5 years. We sell them program as you can read on our web site.
This is the hotels we work with in Santorini and the ones you may stay in 2 days tour. Hotel Thirasia, Hotel, New Haroula, Hotel Sunrise, Hotel Erato, Hotel Aura.
About payment you can do as you like, only we need 2-3 days before the tour. Cancellation accepted 24 hours bofore.
