Said as the highest point in Kalimpong which is accessible by car.
It offers a beautiful view of the plains and the mighty river Teesta.
On the other side is the Beautiful Monastery.
Can be visited.

Durpin Dara Hill is nice place offers panoramic mountain view of snow covered himaliyan peaks. Atop the hill sits the Zang Dhok Palri Monastery which was consecrated by the Dalai Lama in 1976.

With my 11 friends, I had done short but wonderful village trekking from Himalayan Eagle Resort, chibbo busty Kalimpong to Durpin Dara point. It was a 1 hr. amazing trek, but when we reached there and saw the Mt. Kanchanjunga, it was more & more AMAZING. From Durpin Dara the Mt. Kanchanjunga view is very clear & closer.

Located within the military cantonment is the Durpin Dara view point. A newly built monastery is the main attraction in the area. It is located away from the town and is recommended to reserve a taxi for a visit.

Durpin Monastery Top, One of the favourite places for tourists. A calmness in the atmosphere for peace of mind, located inside the Army Land of Striking Lions 27 HQ Division. At a glance of this place catch eye of the mighty Kanchenjunga on a Clear Weather. As well as you can be lucky to sight Indian army Personels Performing their duty to the correct inch, helicopter, fighter jet, sightings through the valley another Amazing Experience. And you can also spot 50% ot the Kalimpong Town from the top.

This is the highest point wherefrom one can see the entire town. One has to climb a few stairs and is very popular for photography.

Durpin Dara or Durpin Hill is one of the two main attraction centers in Kalimpong. It features two main places. One is the neighboring monastery and the other one is the Cactus Nursery. I reached here at about 3PM in the afternoon and felt amazing with the vibe around that time. I also went to the famous suicide point on Kalimpong where people say some girl had committed a suicide. I would definitely like to come back here someday.
