This temple in the main complex and very near exit from the main temple. But as per tradition, one should visit samadhi of Lord Jagannath before visiting Maa Laxmi temple. The samadhi of all old idols is just outside the gate.

Goddess Lakshmi who favours us with wealth, health courage, is very benevolent. The shrine is within the Jagannath temple complex. Lakshmi in all her glory awaits your prayers, but may not favour it. The pandas/prohits will attempt to you poorer by their sales talk

This temple is based inside the famous jagannath temple at Puri. She is the consort of Lord Jagannath and enjoys a special place in the rituals of the temple. The idol is extremely beautiful. This is a must visit.
