This is one of the best sights near shillong. The view is mesmerizing. Recommending to visit during rainy season.

Must see in rainy season. There are three steps of this fall. Need to walk few steps down to view the 2nd and 3rd fall. Planty of water in rainy season.

Well, went to this place in my recent trip to Shillong. There was a rock carving which said the elephant shape of the falls got destroyed in earthquake. Overall, just a normal falls. Don't recommend for old travellers as there are lots of steps.

Do go down to the 2nd and 3rd falls as there lies the view! One of the better falls I have seen in the Meghalaya circuit.

Located 12 kms away from Shillong, on the way to Chirapunjee. This is basically mountain streams with two successive falls in furn covered rocky slope. When visited in March, the falls were practically dry. So, if you want to see the falls in full bloom, you have to go Shillong during monsoon or just after monsoon.

I have seen this water fall for the first time on TV when our Hon'ble Prime Minister Mr. Modi visited this place in May,2016 and I really loved it when I personally visited this place and believe me whom so ever loves the nature would love this for sure. You would not get such places easily anywhere in India. Simply... More

I found Elephant falls to be an average attraction ,compare to the amazing falls that meghalaya offers. Its a touristic place and if time permits, and you are only doing shillong sight seeing, then donot miss it.
