This is a place not only for tourists but even for for the locals. You should bring your kids here and let them learn about the glorious past of the Indian Air Force. It is well maintained and you can snap photos liberally. There's even a souvenir shop. Take time out during your visit to Cherrapunjee.

Small yet lots to see for those who are fascinated about air force. It is situated at a walking distance from Elephant falls. Has some model planes outside and lots to see inside the museum. its free and one can really have a good time there.
