Knowledge enhanced

Very nicely maintained and organised. Strongly recommended for kids as it really enhances their knowledge as everything there is mentioned very minutely.

This is not a big museum by any means, but quite an interesting one. There are a few generic displays like Mig-21, Hunter, Iskara Trainer, some missiles, bombs and other armament etc. The indoors section has a bit of information about operations of Indian Air Force in the area and exploits of some local servicemen. Its on the way to elephanta falls..Its a well maintained property with more old redundant birds and more of theoretical knowledge . This could be more creative to attract esp children..

We came here after being recommended to come by the nearby cafe we stopped at for dinner the previous night. The history and sacrifice really makes you feel proud of the country.

This is located just outside the Shillong City, just after the airport. People visit the place on the way to Elephant falls. This museum is free of charge, however, always keep Govt. This museum instills patriotism and pride in you once you are at this place. Beautifully displayed old aircrafts and guns. You can get your pic clicked with aircrafts and inside cockpit.
