The road which leads to sunset point is very quiet & it is covered with trees at both the sides. If you have practice of walking, then you will enjoy walking in here

Sunset point was the nearest point from our resort. It was around 2 kms. As I said earlier, it was our second honeymoon and it was just great to visit Matheran in the month of May. Its a perfect weekend getaway from Mumbai

The best place in matheran. Sunset view is very Beautiful. can sit and watch clear sunset behind the mountain. we need to take horse ride to visit the place otherwise need to walk long distance. It is little tough to return by walk.

Porcupine point offers view of beautiful sunset. There are comfortable sitting space. You can sit and relaxly in cool breeze and watch Sun going down in horizon. There are few stalls selling Bhutta and sandwiches. It is really beautiful experience.

We walked all the way to the sunset point, so it took us almost an hour to reach. So you can leave by 4:00 to reach there if you walk. If you take a horse ride you will reach earlier. Hope I answered your question :)
