Peaceful place, just 1.8km from Matheran railway station,u can hire horse go to the point awesome lake view, food stalls available here, seating benches available, awesome location, must visit in winter.

This is the best spot for any visitor. There is no change since 20 yrs. The pavements need an upgrade and there should be better tourist facilities like toilets, eateries, etc. Not sure where all the money collected at the entrance goes for modernisation.

While it is nice to see a large water body at such a height of mountain, the water was so dirty did not want to touch it. Waterfall at Lord's point was dry. Nearby where water was still flowing entry point was blocked.

Lake was serene and beautiful. Here you can sit and unwind yourself. Take care of belongings from monkeys especially food. Lords point is nearby and a must visit. Nearby few eateries are there to have some tea coffee and snacks.

No, camping is not allowed on the open grounds. But there are Hotels nearby and you can avail of those to stay. However, you can sit late evening near the lake and enjoy the nature.
