Known for tigers and wildlife viewing, this NP also offers "Elephant ride Safaris" at horrible expense to the elephants. They are chained, beaten, and ridden for the amusement of guests. Best to avoid and find location that actually respects wildlife. :(

Went there in november 2018. We went for a buffer safari in the evening in pathai zone.A tiger was sighted by another grouo in another gypsy.

Park will remain closed during that time but if you want to go to panchmarhi, a part of satpura, you may go. Better if you go to satpura after october, you can visit Madhai and really enjoy. Thanks
