One of its kind experience
Aug 2021 • Couples
The delta is awesome (now due to covid can't go for boat riding or close to the Kaveri water) . It's very clean and very beautifully designed. Must must visit Bird sanctuary and meet Karthik there.

Park with Cauvery river…
Mar 2021 • Family
Nisargdhama falls enroute from Mysore to Coorg and has been commercialised with lot of shops which hides its true entry. The place has a policy to deposit ₹10 for any plastic bottles you carry which you can take back once you bring the bottle back which is done to keep the park plastic fre. The hanging bridge on the river Cauvery is one of its best attractions and there is boating also available. River entry and deer parks are also inside the park but very far away. Also the area was more popular with couples.

Very poorly maintained place, don't visit!
Jan 2021
We visited this place on 10th Jan 2021. For the COVID times, this place was quite crowded, no one was following the rules with masks for social distancing. No sanitization was done between the boat rides and we decided to give it a miss.
There is nothing to see in the park and is very poorly maintained. The information boards near the statues full of rust and the information have gone a long time back.

Please don't visit this place, it's not worth it.

Nice place to spend a couple of hours

Its a good place to visit in Coorg, gives you a experience of being in a forest and the water body adds it up. You can get to see a deer park as well. The boating was closed, may be for COVID but not sure.

You can give it a miss

Nothing much to enjoy in this place except there are lots of captivated deers who enjoy interacting with the people.

I think this more of a place for local people to visit in the evening with friends and family.

A fun place to meet local people but needing a revamp
Jan 2020
This little island park is popular for families but especially young people with all types of sweet and drinks stalls at the entrance where they hang out. The exhibits, with the exception of the spotted deer all looked, a little over worn and sad. The boats were extremely popular but judging by the people getting off, be prepared to get soaked!

Nice family place
Feb 2020
Nisargdhama is a small island with Banboo forests in the Kaveri river. Considering an entry fee of just Rs. 10, it is a very good day out with family. To get to the island, you have to use a wood and rope bridge, which is quite interesting. On the island, the government has constructed pathways inside the jungle with a deer park and children’s play area. There are also options for elephant ride, boat ride and a small zip line.
Overall, you can spend a nice couple of hours here with the family.

A good place to enjoy the nature around namdroling Buddhist monastery
Dec 2019 • Friends
It was in the evening we could reach the place, but even though it was hot while teaching the area.
Once going inside the nature park with the 10 rs per person ticket, entered through a hanging bridge and reaching a park which leads to a deer park..
And below the hanging bridge a small pedal boat ride which adds to the beauty of the park.
Enough small shops to go around and purchase while returning from the park.
An exotic bird park to visit birds and fishes displayed outside the park region.
Only drawback felt was there was not a good restaurant for having food or a proper restroom for the visitor reaching the place.
