The magnificent temple dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara Balajee is a holy place in the town. The temple is constructed in a typical south India style in huge area in stunning white colour.
There is a Lord Ganesh temple at the entrance. The other temples include
Lord Balajee temple , Garuda temple & Goddess Padmavati temple. The deities of Lord Balajee & Padmavati Devi are very attractive.
The ambiance of the campus is highly spiritual & devotional .
The Laddu Prasadam is also available at the exit gate on nominal payment .
Best time to visit the temple is in evening when it is illuminated with lights.

With my wife I visited the Balaji Temple Guwahati on 9 March 2020. The temple gives a glimpse of Balaji Temple of Tirupati in the city in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. While roaming in the Balaji Temple Guwahati, the memory Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam flushed in my mind. The city is home to most famous and important Vaishnavite shrine of Tirumala Venkateswara Temple and other historic temples.
Apart of the Balaji Temple we viewed the deity in the Padmavati Temple.
The picturesque view of everything inside the temple demands admiration of any visitor.
On the left side of the entrance there is counter for selling Prasadam.
The address, timings is seasons, and other relevant information you will get from the website.
Do not forget to collect Prasadam of God balaji. I took a photo of the entance gate from outside.
NOTE: Taking photo inside is strictly prohibited.

The Venkatchalapathy Temple was consecrated by the Kanchi Kama Koti Peetam and GoA in 1996. A serene and divine spot to walk around with beautiful gopurams. Balaji stands in the middle and on his right is Durga Devi and on his left is Padmavathy as Laxmi. The Ganapathy temple too is a neat and clean temple. New construction , maintained well. Families can enjoy laddu prasad and restaurants with vegeterian food. Car parking available and a nice garden to entertain children.

You can find this temple with a linear arrangement of Padmavathi, Balaji and Durga shrines respectively. The temple is located some meters away from interstate bus terminal of Guwahati. Best to visit anytime, especially in the evenings.

We visited this temple on 22nd April while returning to Guwahati from our 3 days trip of Cherrapunji & Shillong. Once our taxi from Shillong entered the city, the driver took a small diversion, and helped us to visit first Vashishta Mandir, and then Purva Tirupati Shri Balaji temple. It is a cleanly maintained temple, with ample car parking. There is a regulated shoe stand outside the temple. Our darshan took 10 minutes, and we also spent some more time inside the premises.
Once out of the premises, do not forget to buy the Laddu prasadam, which is very tasty.

You are not likely to see a Temple this clean, green, & well maintained. It is a must visit temple, even if you do not believe in Lord Balaji. It is so clean that even with bare feet our soles did not get any dirt / dust. Names of trees & plants are written on them, so we know & recognize them. The trees, shrubs, plants are nurtured lovingly.
Prasad (savoury) is given to everyone at the exit of the temple. There is no photography allowed within the temple complex and the authorities are very strict about this. If spotted taking photos your camera will be taken away and returned only when you leave the complex. Prasad (ladoos) is sold at the entrance. The ladoos are very tasty (not too sweet) and last well up to 10/12 days without any special packing or care. We bought them on 12 March and only opened them on 23 March in Mumbai. They stayed very well and who had them remarked on the quality & taste.
