it is placed at island in Brahmputra River hardly 20 minutes boat drive from guwahati. nice loication ... Mahadev manir is well maintained. must to see.

first of all this place is awesome it is in between river Brahmaputra. Word Uma Nanda means Lord Shiva so this place have a temple of Lord Shiva also. You can see lot of langoors also just be aware them.

Everyone who take Darshan of Kamakhya Devi, should take Darshan of Uma Nanda Temple also. It is very old temple.

This temple of Bhagwan shiv and uma is on a island of river Brahmaputra. You have to take boat to reach there. Natural view just amazing. Lord Ganesh's and lord Hanuman's temple is also there. I loved this place. Enjoy coconut water also.
