Hi Ankit, Weather is very good at that time. Temperature will be in between 18 - 25 degree in Assam. You can also visit Kaziranga National Park at that time. I would like to suggest the following itinerary for you. Day 1. Arrival at Guwahati. Visit Kamakhyadevi temple, Umananda temple, Shrimanta Shankardeva Kalakshetra and in the evening Brahmaputra River Cruise. This is depending on your arrival time. If some places not cover on the day then you can plan it for day 6. Day 2. Start...More

Boat trip down the Brahmaputra. (2 Replies)
I know about the Alfresco and we will probably take the sunset cruise. However i have taken a similar cruise very often down the Mandovi river in Panaji, Goa. Very touristy. Are they any local small ferries (except for the Umananda Temple) or boats that can take us up or down the river. A rowing boat of fishermen or something like that? Would like to see some local life/village along the river.
