The largest city amongst all cities and towns of North East India. Situated on the bank of mighty Brahmaputra. This is a city with red rivers and blue hills. It has one of the largest wetland which is also Ramsar site. This city has temples and other places of interest and well connected with air, roads or water ways.

Guwahati is the largest city of the Assam. The capital of Assam generally known as Dispur situated at Guwahati.
Guwahati was known as Pragjyotishpura in ancient Assam, and the modern era Gauhati. Guwahati is the largest urban area in Northeast India. A major riverine port city and one of the fastest growing cities in India, Guwahati is situated on the River bank of the Brahmaputra.
It’s known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu. To the east, 18th-century Navagraha Temple is an astronomical center with planetary shrines. Umananda Temple, dedicated to Shiva and covered with engravings, stands on Peacock Island in the river, Basistha Temple, Balaji Temple an Ganesh Temple etc also be found in the heart of the city.
We can say The world's most wonderful city for the explorers and travellers.

it was a great experience to move around in Guwahati on bike, Rental bikes are available you can choose from different models of bikes . i choose bullet which was very attractive...overall great service by AweRides
