I have had the most bombastic experience at the Venom Bar. With its live music, they provide their visitors with an ambience best suited for a celebration. I was there with my better half and it's our personal viewpoint, that they served the best cocktails and sea food starters in the entire island. All in all, in terms of hospitality, food, drinks, ambience, crowd and music, Venom Bar must be one's first choice.…

This is the best bar I have visited at Havelock Island. If you are a party person or you like to explore night life in some other area, you should definitely visit Venom Bar. It is a shack like bar which serves amazing cocktails and sea food starters. They have the best sea food available at Havelock Island. There you can celebrate with your friends and family, they have quite a good space if you want to arrange parties for your closed ones. Along with that, this is the most happening place in the Island as you can connect with lots of people there. I highly recommend to visit this bar once.…

Peanuts were served with our drink Drinks: I was excited to see gin on the menu even if it was relatively expensive at R390 for a single, but who drinks gin neat? Sadly the tonic water was not available so I tried mixing with the fresh lime soda. The only problem was that they aren't allowed to mix drinks that aren't on their cocktails list. It was the worst gin and lime drink I have ever had. It was warm and extremely salty. I couldn't bring myself to finish it. Food: not sampled Vibe: very loud music but plenty of space if you want to dance the night away barefoot (you have to take your shoes off before stepping inside). Seating area is comfortable with a nice view and plenty of people-watching opportunities Value: cocktails average R500 each but whatever it was I ordered was worth a fraction of that. But I suppose in part you pay for the atmosphere and cool setting Go again? Wouldn't bother…

We were staying at Symphony Palms and went to the Venom Bar for drinks. It has a good atmosphere but is so overpriced. They charge you a bomb for all food and drinks, you barely feel like ordering.
