I first played at this course in the late 70's. This was my first time back since 1990. It is a flatter course with challenging bunker placement and ponds in the middle of the city. The greens were perfect, the fairways were minimal when it came to grass and were hard. There are plenty of sprinkler heads and they are located a mile from the lake??? The bunkers were hard packed beach sand! Other than that it was a good time. The restaurant after the round sold a rib dinner that was quite good and many people bought them to eat there or take home. The dinner was great! The bar area had plenty of TVs to view. The girls working at the club house and the drink cart were very nice and outgoing making the experience even better! there is even an outdoor patio with live entertainment. It is nice to see how much this course has grown over 40 years. I'm looking forward to going back before the end of the season!!!
