Skeptical of many Ohio wines? We are too. Therefore a pleasant surprise at Brandeberry Winery when we encountered wines that were quite drinkable. We like dry wines, and they have several that have been developed over the years by an engineer-vintner (yes, that's a thing - at least at Brandeberry Winery). The music is fun, and the patio is lovely. Food items are limited, but Bentino's Pizza in Yellow Springs happily delivers, complete with utensils and plates.

The wine is phenomenal, the staff excellent. In the summer on Saturday night, bring your dog, enjoy the best wine and listen to the music. You can just stop by to get your wine to enjoy at home or you can stay awhile and visit. Sometimes, there is a food truck on site. Other times, only snack type food (cheese plate, artichoke dip) is available. Check out their Facebook page.

Lovely winery off the beaten track, but only a few minutes from Yellow Springs. I very much enjoyed the wine tasting. Our sommelier was friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely make this a stop on your next visit to the area.
