Beautiful day for a hike. Wait...it was raining this evening! And it was muddy, and wet. Oh, ye have little faith! This trail is covered with trees that act as coverage and the trails aren't bad with boards over wet terrain. The falls are a...More

We walked from the parking lot to the falls... easy walk and pretty view. Then we took the Gorge trail... ew! It must follow a sewer line because every hundred yards or so there was a nauseating sewer odor! Plus, a portion of the trail...More

Gorge Metro Park offers spectacular views of the Cuyahoga River, along with great hiking trails and rock formations. Picnic tables and small picnic lodges are available. A great place for the entire family. There is a fishing dock that is handicapped accessible.

I thought it was just hiking but there was a huge dam/water fall that was a complete surprise. Very tranquil and clean.

It's really pretty. The falls are cool. But part of the trail was closed and the maps were not at all clear. There was a smell of sewage throughout the park. Parking was easy. They are going to remove the falls at some point, so...More

Good views of waterfall and lake and a couple miles of wooded buggy trails.... a few areas of good rock formations and some elevation changes but not a real difficult hike.. if in the area with extra time worth checking out

Not really on a river. Its always moving at different speeds depending on rain and water level. I would suggest a lake. Mogadore Lake or Portage lakes.
