It is a nice living history museum. It is not like other spots where the streets are closed to traffic so you do have old time with the modern. The sites are great to see.

So much history here that you’d need several days to enjoy it all. Shops, historical recreations of a school, medical office, and other 19th century life experiences, plus the canal.

Roscoe , and old restored canal town contains many original buildings which no contain a couple nice restaurants , craft shops, a very nice specialty food store and deli, plus a very huge candy store and several other shops. Adjacent to the village and sharing...More

Yes, we are pet friendly as long as they are on a leash and well controlled.

Most of the shops and restaurants are open 7 days a week year round. I'm not sure about the welcome center
