Columbus Scavenger Hunt Adventure

1 review
Turn Columbus into a giant game board with this fun scavenger hunt adventure! This challenge combines the excitement of the Amazing Race with a 2-3 hour city walking adventure. Guided from any smart phone, teams make their way among well known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history. Your adventure will begin at one of the city's historic churches and takes you through the expansive Capitol grounds and war memorials. Your Quest route will make its way to historic theaters, famous hotels and other locations with incredible outdoor art to show you the hidden gems of this city. The tour requires approximately 2.0 miles of walking. Using a smartphone as “the guide” allows participants to start when they want and determine their own pace of play. <br>Note: Pricing is per individual, but teams must book together in order to be included in the same adventure.

Looking around for a window to “peek” out of assuming there must be a “peak” around. Feels more like a base camp bar than a place in Columbus. Especially after seeing the clientele. Did I step into a jazz bar or another dimension where fishing vests and fanny packs are all the fashion?? Church pews line one portion of the seating area and I wonder how many spiritual awakenings have taken place as the greatest jazz musicians (of the greater Columbus area) have tickled the ivories and plucked those sacred chords. The walls are filled with photographs of a bygone era that leaves you with a wonderment and nostalgia for the simpler times. The beers are cold, the tunes are groovy, the bathrooms are scary, but the cover is only $5.

Great live Jazz music with good beer and great people watching. A little seedy outside especially near closing (ie I wouldn't go alone). Had a great time.

That has been the question asked for at least 50 years on the sign outside and on the T-shirts they sell inside. This is a real dive bar but in a good way. I would not eat anything there and I’m not sure they have much to eat. The bathrooms are usable but I would try not to use them too. The people are the draw, an eclectic cerebral mix of urbane slightly unwashed folks enjoying good conversation and friendly debates. It’s in a great neighborhood between campus and Clintonville. Take a walk and drop by for a beer and a T-shirt.

It’s an average bar. Great live music. Not one I’d frequent. Very diverse crowd from young to older. Dirty bathroom. I’d say if you’re a woman go with someone and not alone ... a ton of creepers and panhandlers hang out here. Both times I’ve went someone has tried to slip something in my drink .... never turn your eyes off your drink for a second.
