A walk along the river ( day or night or tour of Santa Marie ) is time we’ll spent for both children and adults. Some locals annoy this area during lunch. In my opinion this stop is worth considering whether local or passing thru.

We’ve been down to the Mile many times. Went today for the Rhythm On The Mile festival. Lot’s of food trucks. Plenty of drink tents. Water fountains for kids to play in. Green spaces with shade, tables. And a LOT of great music! 6/1/2019 was...More

Soothing fountains, green space, walking/bike trails, chair swings. A great place to view the city, watch the sunset, and see the river.

I always love walks/runs in this area and envy these people who live right by the river. Lovely ambience.

A peaceful early spring walk in downtown Columbus. Park is clean and a good place to work out/jog. Few restaurants around and not far from North Market

You may get lucky and get one of those events where foodtrucks would park across the river and you can enjoy a nice crafted lunch during a good sunny Columbus day

Celebrated teenage son's birthday with grandparents. After lunch, walked a bit of the mile and rode the scooters. Fountains are fun in the summer time and bikes are available as well.

The Scioto Mile itself is miles of walking paths, trails, fountains, and gardens with resting areas. Which is FREE!
