Something for everyone in your family! Delicious and inexpensive!
Reminded us of Florence Italy’s market! The only place you need to go for food! Make sure to get validation of parking if you park in the parking garage. Street parking is very cheap too. Something for everyone in the family! Recommend Hubert’s pierogies and potato cakes (make sure you get their hot sauce), Momo Ghar’s vegetarian dumplings, fox’s bagels, and bubbles tea and smoothie place. The fresh produce area also has homemade buckeyes! Enjoy!

    Quick stop pre concert
Great little market. Perfect to grab something to eat. Stopped in afternoon pre-concert at Nationwide. Sorry for this honest review: Buckeye Doughnuts: I have had better doughnuts at a gas station. Don’t waste your time. Dry, with a funny aftertaste. I got the blueberry cake and the jelly filled with white icing. I think of myself as a donut connoisseur; literally, the worst donuts I’ve ever had.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that.
The Short North area was recommended to us to visit while in Columbus. We stopped by here first to find some lunch. The building is filled with many different types of ethnic foods. It all looked so good. There was also a stand with fresh veggies, beer, wine, spices & salsa. There is seating upstairs to eat. The building as well as the restrooms were very well maintained.

    Large multi-cultural food court
So many options for food and drink, for all tastes. Visited on a Sunday morning and bought bagels, donuts, and coffee from three different vendors/ stands. Everyone is friendly, fun vibe. Bonus - they can validate your parking at the Vine Street Garage.

    Excellent Conference Option
This is convenient to the convention center, which is helpful for conference goers like myself to find a decent meal within walking distance. This is classified as a farmer's market, but is basically a food court. It looks like they are doing construction so maybe there is a second component that is not yet open? Anywho, there is a wide variety of foods (maybe a dozen or more) here. I had the BBQ and the hot chicken while attending my conference. I'd say the BBQ is average and you can probably skip that one. The hot chicken on the other hand was quite good and I highly recommend that one. The seating area can get quite crowded as a result of the conference rush. It is best to plan to get a jump on the lunch break. For tourists attending during a conference, I'd just skip it because of the lunch rush. This is an excellent lunch option, but your experience will vary based on the specific food outlet you choose.

Was less crowded than the last time we were here, even though it was a Saturday morning. Bretzels is pricey, but oh so good. Parmesan pretzels or cinnamon pretzels are delicious. I had a Polish sausage sandwich with sauerkraut and spicy mustard with mashed potatoes and the Polish Diner stand, and it was very tasty. You do need to watch, some prices are very high (in my opinion) and you can drop a lot of money quickly. Clean. Friendly. Places to sit and eat upstairs (elevator available) but because of Covid, it was very limited.

"Something for everybody" is a cliche that's widely misused. Except when it isn't. The Market gathers amazing cuisines for whatever your global food preference may be at any moment. Frankly, you will overeat. A little of this and that. There really isn't a bad choice there based on my experience. Whether it be African, Mexican, Italian, Somali, German, etc. Its all here. The Market manages to be both noisy, yet soothing. A neat little trick. The artwork, history, and overall feel of the entire space is infectious. You may not need to go anywhere else for food if you're adventurous. Be sure to pick up some souvenir clothing while here. It's quite comfortable and makes for a good memory. So does the Market itself. Travelers will wish there were anything like it back home. Spoiler. There isn't. Bon apetit.

This is a great place to grab lunch or dinner. As others have pointed out, this isn't a true Farmer's market. Instead, it is a food court filled with a terrific variety of cuisines and all locally owned. From Italian and Mexican to Somali, Thai or Nepalese to BBQ and seafood, it is hard to not find something you like. The most difficult thing is to settle on just one given the number of options available. The sambusas at Hoyo's Kitchen are amazing and I enjoyed the Green Curry from Nida's Thai. If rating the food quality, I would give it a 4/5 but 5 out of 5 on the overall experience and atmosphere. Prices are not cheap here as this is an "attraction" to visit in downtown Columbus. Plenty of seating on the second floor or outside on picnic tables if the weather is nice.

This place is such a gem. I was lucky enough to be introduced to it by a native buck eye. There are so many food options to choose from in here, makes it ideal for groups or people that like variety. I mean pho, ramen, dumplings, pretzels, Thai, Somali, hot chicken, donuts, baked goods. You can also pick up fresh chicken, fish, beef, alcohol and spices. I sincerely enjoyed my time at North Market. Anytime I'm in Columbus I'll make it a point to visit and you should too.

We are a family of 6, to include two small children; that decided to visit the North Market on a Sunday afternoon. The Market was not what we envisioned a Market should be, meaning; a place to purchase fruits, vegetables, and meats. Instead, the North Market was/is more or less a large food court, with eating space upstairs. We had visited the Westside Market in Cleveland a while back, and had anticipated the Columbus market to be similar. Each of us purchased lunch items from several vendors present, had some ice cream; then headed home. Parking with validation is $5.00. Food costs are a bit pricey. Overall experience: 5/10.

If you are looking for something to eat, this is the place to go. There are lots of options from around the world and many of the stalls cook food to order.
There was so much choice we came back another day as we wanted to try out more cuisines.
Highlights were the sushi (for my husband) and the ice cream for me!
Only downside is the lack of seating near the stalls however their is another level with seating but we did not check this out.
Don't let the shabby exterior put you off.

I started the day with Ohio Thunder Chai and i knew it would be a good day. The cafe at North Market has a beautiful variety of teas. I had a Block's Bagels egg and cheese bagel and it was delicious. I stayed in downtown for three days and i went back to North Market for at least one meal each day. The bakery served a delightful buckeye cupcake. They are an inclusive environment with vegan and gluten free options. I bought spices to bring home, too!
