The topiary is a small display in the middle of a small park that "recreates" Seurat's painting, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, in topiary form. Cute, but not worth going out of your way to see.

We stopped here for a quick look. Perhaps the loving tender care of the staff will improve the figures. To us they seemed quite overgrown and in need of proper sculpting. Comparing our view with the photos on this site only reinforces this conviction. Regardless,...More

It is located East side in a quite neighborhood and pretty close to down town. Lots of traffic during business hours. We had to leave the park within 5min because of some young spoiled kids. The park needs better maintained and needs security officers. This...More

Pretty neat place. It was May so it was not fully grown out of in bloom but it is well maintained and a nice short excursion during our visit.

I discovered these by accident. They are located in a park that was for the deaf many years ago. There is so much detail including a cat weaving around a woman.

This was an add-on following our state house visit once the rain stopped. We were there a little early in the season and I am sure this area will be beautiful in May and beyond. Very nice walk with 30-40 topiaries of various sizes and...More

We lucked out on the weather for our visit. Sunny and just mild enough for us to sit on the bench and view the garden from the painting ' s angle. The spring bulb flowers in bloom added to the scene. The topiary trees may...More

You can park along the street. I think I remember parking meters. Not too expensive.

Yes, I believe there was a lady walking a dog around the path while we were there.
