My old town, renovated, rejuvenated, updated.

I left Columbus Ohio in 1993. I returned this year and am so impressed by the changes. This city is beautiful. Go Bucks!

Downtown has become the place to be - just look at all the condos being built. Plenty of green space, trails and bike lanes make this the new place to be.

Beautiful views of the city skyline and the lovely new bridges make this a great walk to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

I used the COGO bikes to get around downtown. Just $8/day and there are great paths along the river and bike postings along the major roads. A few of the stations did not work for me checking out.

Share the sidewalks with college kids, beggars, and in-town dwellers. Typical college town atmosphere with mix of new and old places.

We visited Columbus from Cincinnati and had a good round of downtown of Columbus. It is clean and has some good restaurants but not much shopping. It is near German Village and Topiary Garden. There is not much to see in downtown.

I have been to Columbus three times as a traveler. It is a must visit because of the state Capitol for all who enjoy history and politics. It is also a must visit because of Ohio State University. However, beyond these two attractions there are not many unique travel destinations to command the travelers time - especially when balanced against... More

Not only do I work downtown but I eat and attend events downtown as well. It's safe largely because the police, special improvement district and community work together to keep Columbus feeling like a small town even with its larger size. There are excellent restaurants and theatre. There is also more new living downtown. It's a great place to be!

Enjoyed Downtown Columbus. The walk by the riverside along the Scioto Mile very pleasant plenty of seats, table and chairs to sit and enjoy the views. The Statehouse and City House. Memorials. Well worth the effort to see.

OK. I'm in Columbus now but other than riding through downtown there isn't much to do. Do see the state capital if you are there but other than that I haven't found mush to do. I was at the Columbus Art Museum yesterday but that's not quite in the heart of downtown. There's not much shopping in downtown Columbus and... More
