The Heart of Scotland Epic Beer trip was an amazing time. Captain Kurt did not miss one detail, from welcome swag bags upon arrival to going above and beyond in planning fun, memorable experiences. It was a perfect balance of structured activities and free time to explore Edinburgh. I felt that I got so much more out of the trip by traveling with a group and a knowledgeable guide. I am already planning on attending my next Epic Beer Trip!

Had so much fun on the epic beer trip to Scotland! There was a great variety of tours, tastings and free time to explore the city. Would highly recommend to any beer lovers/ travel enthusiasts!

If you love drinking craft beer and hanging out with other people who love to talk about and drink beer then this is the trip for you. What is listed on the trip itinerary is the bare minimum of what you will get to experience on the trip. You will get to visit the best cradt breweries in the area, drink exceptional beer, and have a blast while doing it. I got to try some beers that I didn't think I would ever get to try and beers that were limited release and we will probably never see them again. Kurt does an excellent job of including additional stuff to the trip to make the experience memorable. If you love craft beer and want to take a trip for your vacation, make it an Epic Beer Trip.

The trip was a first abroad for me and my husband. We traveled with Kurt Sima's business, Epic Beer Trips. It was an amazing experience. Traveled to Scotland and the itinerary was the perfect combination of planned street tours, tours of many pubs and breweries and free time to explore on our own. We even got to visit a distillery and learn the process of making Scotch Whiskey. It was so great climbing Arther's Seat and savoring the gorgeous view of Edinburgh, visiting Edinburgh Castle, and visiting St Andrews. Just a small snapshot of all the fun things we did.

Epic Beer Trips lives up to the name and idea of traveling, drinking beer, and having fun. Captain Kurt lined up some great beery activities that were much more than your average brewery tasting. Getting to and from activities was handled well, and there was free time to explore as well. There was never a shortage of beer to be had, that's for sure!

We recently took the Epic Beer Tour to Manchester, Chester and Liverpool England with a day trip to Wales. Captain Kurt is an excellent and well organized guide with a wealth of beer knowledge, keen sense of humor and a caring heart to make sure everyone’s needs were met. His itinerary was well planned and he executed everything flawlessly. It was an overall amazing experience thanks to this kind and caring gentleman who always managed to keep us busy and entertained.
Additionally, on our own, we added on London before this tour and Edinburgh after the tour. We appreciated Kurt’s knowledge and guidance of places to visit in Edinburgh.

Just go back from the Heart of Scotland trip by Epic Beer Trips. Fantastic trip combining sight-seeing, cultural enlightenment, and Epic opportunities to taste and learn about local Scottish craft beers and beer history in general. Captain Kurt and the Epic Beer Trips team had all the bases covered and mixed in some unadvertised surprise experiences that made the trip extra special, epic even. I highly recommend.

The Heart of Scotland trip was incredible!! Having Epic Beer Trips prepare details of what to expect regarding international travel made planning stress-free. Their agenda covered all the bases of "must-see" plus activities we didn't even know existed but loved!
The private beer events were impressive and we wouldn't have been able to experience those on our own. It was a nice balance of planned activities plus time to explore. The small group was a wide variety of folks with common interests - travel and beer!
Our stay at the Doghouse hotel was AWESOME. It made for a fully immersive beer trip and were very comfortable accommodations. Definitely a good value and would recommend!!

Our trip to Ireland with Kurt was amazing. The accommodations were in great locations. The attractions were within walking distance. It was a great mix of planned activities coupled with just enough free time to enjoy individual activities. Loved the “Russ Bus” transportation! I would highly recommend the trip to others.

Clink the glasses, sip the delicious beers and explore the cities and history, all while making beautiful memories and laughing till it hurts. I had the opportunity to go to Manchester UK among other cities and take way too many photos, but more so gained good friends and a lifetime of cheers!!! Epic Beer Trip holds up to the name to do something in you life that will last a lifetime. Thank you Captain Kurt & fellow beer trippers for making it an awesome experience!
