Lots of beautiful eclectic Artsy stuff

There is so much to see and do in the short north. They have taken many old buildings and revamped them into beautiful lost treasures

Cute strip with a bunch of restaurants and little stores. Walked up and down the strip with my dog and entered some stores without a problem. I also visited Goodale park that's right across the street afterwards, which was pleasant.

I've been to short north a number of times to eat, but finally took a day to stroll the district. Again dined and enjoyed our meal, but didn't really find the art or shops that I had hoped to see. The other downside side is the number of vagrants, people with drug issues and the lack of free parking (spent... More

I stayed in the Short North while attending a conference at the Greater Columbus Convention Centre. The short north has lots of boutique clothing retailers, bars, restaurants and coffee shops. The coffee experience was VERY good. It is on the free CBus route, so you can get off and on at your convenience. There are a couple of LGBTQI bars,... More

Did not find anything in the way of arts unless you mean hippie type stores. Very random, no organization of a special "district". Not worth the drive through.

I was looking for some gift art items but there are way more food and clothing places than anything. Good places but doesn't strike me as an "arts" district. Highly recommend Da Levee for a lunch stop. May well be the best Cajun outside N.O.

So many cute shops! Most of the shops are locally owned, and many are earth friendly. This is a great place to go for lunch on a rainy day because most of the shops are inside. There is limited parking, so I would recommend going on a weekday. Also good for an early dinner or a snack.

When I can we always stay in the Short North area because it is lively and a fun place to eat and drink. The folks are very friendly and there is a wide variety of places to go to suit every taste and budget.

Really liked Short North; almost as much as the name! I am a fan of interesting neighborhood names. Plenty of things to see. Many small stores. Lots of places to eat. Comfortable and fun on a nice summer day.

I am visiting my daughter who just had a baby and love the area. There are many trendy restaurants within easy walking distance and a park just across the street from us.
