This was really a cool experience. The guide was fantastic and it was really cool to explore an area I am not familiar with since I live just outside of town. The only reason that I did't give it all five stars in simply because...More

This was far beyond our expectations! This is a combination of food tasting, history, cultural information, and fun. Our guide was entertaining, kept us on schedule for each location without being pushy, and was a wealth of knowledge about each vendor as well as history...More

My wife and I took the Alt Eats Food Tour. The 5 place selected for the tour all had excellent food with larger than expected portions. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the various ethnic eateries across central Ohio, and was able to give an...More

I did the Alt Eats Food Tour which was a sampling of 5 local immigrant cuisines in the 161/Cleveland Avenue area of Columbus. The tour exposes you to a great variety of food in places I had driven buy, but had never tried. I found...More

Food Tours in Columbus (3 Replies)
We are considering purchasing a food tour for friends in Columbus. Both Columbus Food Adventures (Tripadvisor ranked #3 out of 16 activities in Columbus) and A la Carte Food Tours (Tripadvsor ranked #1 out of 4 attractions in Worthington) offer tours. The latter are less expensive per tour. I am wondering if anyone has taken tours via both or has heard anything that might persuade me in one direction or the other. (The former has had many more people rate it...only 9 for the later, and 88 for...More
