Short North Tour

We walked, talked, ate and learned a little bit more about Columbus, starting at the North Market and ending in Victorian Village. We Recommend!

I have been on food tours throughout different cities and the food on the Short North food tour was fantastic. There was about a mile of walking which was perfect to have a break in between stops. Our guide did a great job of giving history of the area but wasn't incredibly talkative in between the facts - we still... More

I've been on three tours and they are always fun and interesting. Besides getting to try new food and new restaurants, you also learn about the owners and how they started the business. Always interesting. Since the tour guides are also foodies you get to find out their favorite food place whether it be brick and mortar or a truck!... More

We had a great time on the Grandview food tour, our tour guide was excellent and overall it was a great experience. Only downfall was the food at Spagio, it was extremely disappointing especially for what a great dining experience I have always had at Spagio and for the great food and drinks we had at every other stop on... This is the best food tour I have been on. The food itself was all fantastic (and you get a whole lot of it ( come VERY hungry!), but we also learned so much history and culture about Columbus throughout the tour that I would never otherwise have known. The logistics of the tour went off without a hitch -... More

The Short North Food Tour was such an enjoyable experience! Exploring the area and understanding it's revitalization to the city of Columbus was quite interesting. Sampling the foods at the North Market and restaurants around the Short North made for a great way to spend the afternoon! The foods were excellent and the walk around town quite fun!! Debra, our... We thoroughly enjoyed the AltEat Tour. Andy was a knowledgable and engaging guide and we enjoyed some good and unusual food and met some interesting people as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. In addition to being sated with fine food, we left with more knowledge of local history.

Our leader, Joy, was superb! She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I have been on several food tours. This was probably not my favorite by a long shot. I didn't care for the food served in almost half of the locations. The people presenting the food were very friendly and did a good job. I would recommend other tours over this... More

Our guide had a great personality and was very informative about the restaurants and the area. Each of the businesses we visited had a spokesperson to tell about their food. It was great and the food was delicious! We also enjoyed visiting the print shop.
