Visited Columbus for a few days with a group of friends. We were told Axis is THE best dance club the city has to offer. Granted I have no way to compare that information since I am a first timer here but I will say that we all had a great time. From what I could tell they do a great job bringing in top both performers. Many have been contestants on RuPaul’s Drag Race. That lets you know they want to put in a good show for their guests. In addition to the enjoyable entertainment we had a great time dancing. I haven’t had that much fun doing so in a very long time. It was a nice night for all of us. The drinks were decent and the bar was busy. We left around 1:30 am and the place was still hopping.

Went out with some friends and Axis was the most fun I've had in a long time. Strong drinks, loud music, and great dancing!

Tried to go to a drag show with our gay teenage son. We'd been there before and had a great time. This time we were turned away at the door because he was underage. The guy at the door was a huge jerk and wasn't at all sympathetic to our plight, claiming they couldn't have someone underage wandering around. He was with his parents!

We went to Axis nightclub to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. We had an amazing time. We purchased front row tables, and even though it a very crowded, it was fun getting to know the folks at the tables around us. The queens put on an incredible 2+ hour show that had us smiling the whole night. My daughter had such a great time! They raised over $1500 for charity in around 5 minutes and it was awesome to see. Would go back again for sure!

We called for hours trying to get w/c accessibility info. We facebooked and left voicemails none of which they responded to. So at opening time (7pm) we called, the person who answered said they had plenty of space on the main level for wheelchairs for this evening. After driving all the way down here from Lima, when we arrived we were rudely told that they were no wheelchair spaces open. I explained that we called, The man interrupted me and said that calling 20 minutes prior to opening wouldn't cut it that we'd need to call 4 days at least in advance. I tried to say that we'd been calling for hours and left messages that they never responded to. He said there's no seating for you here. I have never been so embarassed in my life. The entry way was such a tight fit my wheelchair got stuck trying to turn around just so we could leave. They were not nice. I cried all the way home! I did not know that an establishment could refuse access to a handicap person, but this place sure as heck did!
