I'm not a theater critic by any stretch of the imagination, but I can say that my wife and I had an A-plus experience at the Main Street Theater. We drove over from Pittsburgh (only 55 miles) and went to see Oklahoma! on opening night, Friday, June 19, 2015. First off, we were able to walk to the theater from our B&B (so cool) and our night started off right when we were greeted by cast members in front of the building, who were in costume dancing and clapping and generally setting the tone for a fun evening. A special shout out to "Jud" who was so talented (at being creepy) that I was praying he wasn't lurking about after the show. The night ended with the cast greeting and thanking us in the lobby on the way out the door. We just wanted to say thank you to the cast and the theater for providing us with a wonderful couples night out. Columbiana should be very proud of this community theater. It is small-town America at its best.…

The Main Street Theater is in a word "Perfect." The variety of shows during the season range from movies & musicals to the typical multiple scene plays. A smaller theater with a huge amount of charm. My wife & I saw "The Diary of Anne Frank." This wonderful, terrifically acted, & moving performance was the highlight of our three day visit into northeastern Ohio.…
