Beautifully renovated theater that, along with Crown Theater Productions, produces live theater with amazing talent and phenomenal sets and effects. The theater also offers free family movies and other community events. Highly recommend!

I'm not a theater critic by any stretch of the imagination, but I can say that my wife and I had an A-plus experience at the Main Street Theater. We drove over from Pittsburgh (only 55 miles) and went to see Oklahoma! on opening night, Friday, June 19, 2015. First off, we were able to walk to the theater from our B&B (so cool) and our night started off right when we were greeted by cast members in front of the building, who were in costume dancing and clapping and generally setting the tone for a fun evening. The live horses were a nice touch. Once inside, we found that the theater had been fully restored, and decorated very well with comfortable seats. We purchased our tickets ($15 each) on-line and in advance and picked them up "will call" without a hitch. We really had no expectation for the show (just enjoying a night out together) but found the quality of the show to be outstanding. The top-level performers and dancers were all very talented. A special shout out to "Jud" who was so talented (at being creepy) that I was praying he wasn't lurking about after the show. The night ended with the cast greeting and thanking us in the lobby on the way out the door. We just wanted to say thank you to the cast and the theater for providing us with a wonderful couples night out. Columbiana should be very proud of this community theater. It is small-town America at its best.

By being ONLY 2 1/2 to 3 hours from Pittsburgh, if you have always wanted to see a live "Broadway" production without ALL the expensive travel and stay, here's your very next best option. The Main Street Theater is in a word "Perfect." The variety of shows during the season range from movies & musicals to the typical multiple scene plays. A smaller theater with a huge amount of charm. My wife & I saw "The Diary of Anne Frank." This wonderful, terrifically acted, & moving performance was the highlight of our three day visit into northeastern Ohio.
