I am a local. The highlights for Mill Stream are Baldwin and Wallace Lakes (Baldwin is for birding nature), the chalet, and Bonnie Park. The park doesn't have the spectacular gorges of the nearby Rocky River Reservation, but it is still a good park to explore.

We started at the chalet and walked for half an hour and didn't get very far. Lots of bicyclists to watch out for on the paved path.

This is a refreshing and wonderful area to jog, walk or just relax and take in the beautiful trails. The fall is by far the best time to visit with the changing of colors of the leaves. Also a great place for a family picnic or even a family reunion. A must for those that enjoy the outdoors. Biking and... More

Enjoyed a few hours by the water just listening to nature and reading. A perfect way to spend a few hours outdoors when someone has physical limitations.

What a fabulous time I had at Mill Stream Run! The staff were amazing. So friendly, supportive, and patient. I was able to conquer some fears I thought I had. I wasn't frightened in the trees. Once I felt my harness hold me, I could do anything. What an amazing time this is.. and I am out of shape! The... More

We have many foreign travelers. Often we in our are take our metroparks for granted. Each are has something different to offer. Large cities and other countries don't have a ring around their city to observe nature.

Fun! I'm NOT an athlete, and more of a couch potato in my 40's. However, I really enjoyed completing the do-it-yourself zip & ropes course after receiving instructions. My group had seniors, middle-aged, and a teen, and we felt completely safe hooking ourselves up to the lines. We enjoyed being in the forest, and got to see a deer and... More

Whether you are walking, running or biking the all purpose trail ~ the scenery is magnificent. Several great lawns ~ and covered picnics areas in Bonnie Park. We are blessed to have such green space available so close to home.

This is a great park that provides a wonderful spot for a quiet nature walk. It is part of the Emerald Necklace, which is a brilliant concept that provides Clevelanders with a series of interconnected parks that roughly form a U-shape around the city. The parks are all lovely and this one lives up to the standard set by this... More

Those who live around or near the Metropark system are so blessed. All nature, peace and fresh air. My friends, family and I love hiking and biking here. One can get lost in the beauty of the park, and you feel a million miles from any city. Worth a visit anytime you can get away just for a bit to... More
