Awesome place to see a show. Outside venue right on the river near downtown Cleveland. We saw Cake a couple of years ago and then came back to see Rise Against. Friendly people, food and drink options and plenty of bathrooms. Rise Against did not sound that great but not because of the venue. Cake and Pierce the Veil sounded great.

Plus: As others have mentioned, being next to the Cuyahoga River lends a special air to the venue. There are great views of the boat traffic, river and the city. There is good weather protection for an outside pavilion. It rained (a bunch) when we were there and we stayed dry except for a few sprinkles that made it in. Good sight lines.
Minus: Parking and traffic are a challenge. As others have said, just get there early and you should be OK.
Other: They schedule interesting acts. (Weird Al Yankovic is a hoot live.)

I went to Jacobs Pavilion to see a concert this fall, The live music venue was very good. We took my handicapped granddaughter to the concert and she loved it. We had no issues parking and getting to our seats. The one usher went out of his way to help us. THANKS!!! There really isn't a bad seat in the house, even up in the top section you can see and hear perfectly. I like to look around and see other sites when I go places and I thought it was pretty cool to see a barge drive right behind the stage at the same time the band was rocking out. The event was crowded and I really didn't have to wait in line to go to the bathroom and or even get a drink. There were plenty of vendors to get what you needed so you could get back to your seat. I will be buying more concert tickets this summer for this venue

Acoustics were not on point. Treble wasn't loud enough. Drums were overpowering everything else. Could barely hear what David Gray was saying because of it being so muffled. So sad for such a great artist. Not his band's fault. The setup is just terrible. It's the venue. Oh and you can't even move around or dance a bit or you'll get yelled at by security. It's really lame. If you want to SIT extremely uncomfortably and watch a show, this is your place. I'd rather have it been fully outside on grass than be under that stupid tent. Oh and they had some ridiculous smokey grill burning the first couple hours going right under the tent with all that stagnant air because there's not an ounce of breeze thru it. Not to mention the fact they have TWO MEN'S BATHROOMS and only ONE women?!?! Huge line for the women's bathroom because of it. Obviously they need to make it so there is two women's bathrooms instead. Will not be returning (traveled almost 3 hours each way to fulfill a bucket list thing to see David Gray). So disappointing. $200 for bleacher seats and you can't even move around at all.

This is unfortunate to write about, yet the public must be advised as I am probably not the only person this has happened to there. Please be aware of security staff, Battle Tested LLC and staff from Jacobs Pavilion. I was watched, followed, threatened, a security male came up to me from another direction with his fists raised, they used excessive presence, all unwarranted. I asked the individuals what they were following me. I tried to let the companies know what had transpired, yet was met with frivolous claims of harassing staff, being intoxicated, being escorted out and they stated I had a panic attack. None of this is true as we left on our own accord. If these claims from the business were true, why wasn’t I arrested? Please be watchful in public places as this behavior by their staff could have elevated the situation and who knows what could have happened to me or my sibling. I used to believe in the Land, as of lately not so much.

Purchased tickets and and got the third row at $125 only to find that we were on the end of the row. The problem was a huge speaker blocked half of our view. Eventually we relocated to the general admission area.

This was the worst concert venue we have ever been to, and we probably see at least a dozen concerts a year. We traveled from out of town. We had no idea that the seats we purchased were bleacher seats. I feel this should be clear when selecting. Bleachers are uncomfortable for us and we would not have considered it. We arrived at the venue as the opening act was playing and made our way to the seats. Each seat on the bleacher is a slightly molded "seat" to show your area, and was about the width of a ruler. A kid might fit there easily. There was a larger man next to me, leaving me really only half of my assigned area. We were about the last 2 to fill in our row. Nothing he or anyone could do about it, they were all squeezed in like sardines. I sat with my shoulders hunched together, knees in the back of those in front if me and knees in my back from the row behind, my husband beside me doing the same. We sat for the remainder of the opener. We couldn't hold that position all night, or for much longer. We got up to walk. There were signs that you couldn't stand in the aisle running in front of the bleachers, spanning the width of venue. Ok, no problem! We tried basically standing for a few minutes in the aisle area running back under bleacher, basically under the stairs behind the trash can. Standing was not a good option really as I was 2 days away from knee surgery, but I was willing to try. Nope, got chased out by security, although all the venue workers were congregated there already. Ended up standing behind the venue, until a bench opened up by the medical area. No chance of seeing anything at all there. Cheap Trick came on, and the acoustic were just horrible. We've seen them recently and it was definitely not them, it was the venue. It was a miserable experience at that point. We made the decision to cut our losses and leave. I had been looking forward to seeing ZZ Top for months, but this was not the place. What was meant to be a last getaway before surgery, did not turn out as planned.

Went there to see Jason Mraz. Went early and hopped on the free water taxi to get across the river where there are tons of restaurants. Then made it back over for the show. Great venue for a concert!!
Parking tip: park on the outer fringes and get there early. Then you can slither out quickly after the show.

This has become my new favorite venue! Amazing water views from any where that you sit. And there’s not a bad seat in the house! You have a nice breeze coming through while being covered with the tent like roof, in case it rains or shielding from the sun.
Also you can see all the boats, barges and yachts go by. And it’s very close to all the restaurants, bars and hotels. I highly recommend this place!

The event began 15 minutes late due to traffic and parking problems, as stated by the announcer. That might tell you something. We had arrived early enough and took advantage of the food and drinks located on the grounds. Limited, but we got by. Two Hot Dogs and two Beers, 4 for the dogs and 8 for the beers each equals 24 big ones. But that is to be expected. The setting along the river is sublime, and the floor seats proved to be excellent, can not say what the grandstands were like. A large screen was also used to show the performance. We saw Steve Martin and Martin Short comedy night. Very funny stuff, old routines, family photos, clips from TV and movies, insults, Hollywood stories. The Steep Canyon Rangers also played, they are an amazing group. Tight and so very good, Bluegrass music, accompanied by Steve Martin on Banjo. Two hours, no intermission, the time flew by. Worth the time and treasure.

Is there parking nearby? Attending a concert at the Pavilion tomorrow night and having knee surgery Monday. So... hoping it's not too much of a hike.

We would like to ride our motorcycle up to a concert at the pavilion. Is there separate secure parking for motorcycles?

Is Section 5 elevated enough that you have a good view of the stage over the GA standing and box seats section? I'm looking at tickets in row A and want to be sure it is high enough to be able to see the stage. Thanks for your help - never been to this venue!!!
