This was the perfect way to start our weekend in Cleveland! Leslie has a wealth of info about local breweries and beer. She let us vote on some of the samples so that was nice as we are not big sour beer fans. All the breweries had great beer. Terrestrial Brewery has an amazing view of the river and Forest City Brewery was like hanging out in your friends backyard. We all ended up staying at this last stop, although Leslie did offer to drop us off back downtown if we wanted. We met some guys on the bus who also gave us some info on where to go in Cleveland - Masthead Brewery has great pizza & beer & the 32nd floor bar of the Hilton has a great view & was right by the Drury Inn where we stayed. Would definitely suggest this if you like beer and will be in Cleveland. The pick up spot is also by the Great Lake Brewery and some others so get there early of stay late to check them out.

We had a great time. Leslie, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the beer scene in Cleveland and made this a learning experience as well as a ton of fun.

If you are a fan of craft beers, and you are interested in the Cleveland brewing scene, the Cleveland Brew Bus is an outstanding way to spend a day. Leslie (tour guide/owner) is extremely friendly, open to ideas, explains the brews, and is very knowledgeable about the local scene. Don (driver) was great too, has some cool stories to share.

The overall experience for the group I was with started at Great Lakes, and it was a tour of the brewing facility. Great stories about the family that started it and their role in the neighborhood and the city. The beer was great too, by the way. After that, it was tasting at two other breweries of your choice, based on the tour you sign up for, which will include multiple breweries to select your three visits. One trip is not enough, this just will wet your appetite to get out and support all the local brewers, wherever you are from, because you get a real sense of community, and you can feel the pride coming from the brewers and Leslie about the product. Our trip, the Heart of the City tour, included Forest City and Masthead, which we all are now fans. The food at Masthead was very good too as a place to grab a bite between tastes.

One of the best examples of Customer Service that I have had in a long time also came from the Cleveland Brew Bus and Leslie. We had people from out of town coming and the weekend we went was our only option to have everyone. The only tour that day was the Cleveland Brewing History tour, which was more about the history than a variety of different tastings. I am not saying this wouldn't be an amazing day too, but we were looking to be more social and taste some beers we haven't had vs. one beer at each of the three stops. Leslie proactively reached out to me to make sure we were aware the history tour was not a tasting of multiple styles and offered to customize the day for us. Each of the members of our group was 100% for the variety of tastings, so we elected to make the switch to the Heart of the City tour. Again, I'm sure the History tour would be informative and awesome, but we truly enjoyed the multiple tastes. Leslie went above and beyond to make sure we experienced the tour we wanted.

All in all, a great day, a fun way to spend time with friends and family, amazing beer, great hosts in Leslie and Don, and endless discoveries await as we all try to visit each of the new Cleveland area breweries. Make the trip, it's well worth it.

Just finished a wonderful afternoon on the Cleveland Brew Bus! We learned so much history and couldn’t have had nicer tour guides.

This was something new and different! Leslie is amazing and we had a nice group! if you're really into your Beers do this tour. I felt like there was a variety of things to try. I myself, am NOT a beer person, I bought this as a gift for my future husband. Overall, it's a nice concept, I think the time could be fine-tuned a bit, things it drags out too long and the tastings are too wide-spread. I also think that for those that are riding or coming along as designated driver companions they could offer a soda, lemonade, iced tea, water, something while others are tasting beers. I also would have like to hear about more history of the brewery, location and ale. Felt like it was too much wasted time and space in-between just doing nothing but sitting around waiting for samples. Other than that - it's a really nice concept, something new & different.

Leslie and Brian, the owners/hosts, are wonderful people and really know all things about the local breweries and other interesting places and facts. Leslie adjusts the stop-time according to the make-up of the group. This flexibility is nice.

Also, there are some excellent beers at all of these breweries, plus great food.

I highly recommend this tour with the Cleveland Brew Bus.

I cannot stop talking to everyone who will listen about our BrewBus tour on 1/20/18.
The exceptional service was clear from the beginning…

I contacted Leslie in fall of 2017 about booking a tour as a Christmas gift. I wanted to get a big group together, but that number kept changing and Leslie was super cool about our ever-changing plans. She was so easy to communicate with and very accommodating to us. Booking was very easy.
Their website is user-friendly and offers lots of info about all the tours.

On tour day, our bus arrived on time to pick us up. Our driver, Dennis, became our cool new friend. His knowledge of the Cleveland music scene and experience with some super cool bands made for very exciting conversation. He was an expert driver and very conscientious of the snow and icy sidewalks.

Our tour guide Heather may be the raddest person I’ve met in a long time. We all agreed we want her to be our personal friend. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about the brewing scene in Cleveland that we all wished we knew half as much as she did. She was the perfect tour guide- fun, smart, laid-back, and energetic. What a great dynamic. I also loved the way her and Dennis interacted. They treated us like friends that night.

Each brewery was super welcoming and had plenty of space to accommodate our groups. The beer flights were thoughtful and well -coordinated. We also ate at the first two breweries and I can’t wait to go back for more nosh. The beer samples were a good size. We enjoyed the suds at Masthead Brewing, Noble Beast Brewing, and Brick And Barrel.

We had a couple of friends who couldn’t join us because of cost. This was not an inexpensive night, for certain, but I felt it was worth the price paid. It was a really good value for a fun night out. Would highly recommend!

We were recently in Cleveland for the weekend and we decided to do this event with our friends. We too the "New Breweries" Tour. It was one of many that this company has.
We visited three breweries enjoying a "flight" at each brewery. You could purchase food at 2 out of the 3 breweries that we went to. This was a very fun thing to do with other couples. A very enjoyable evening. Our tour guide was one of the owners of the Brew Bus and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. One of the best things that she did was make everyone a pretzel necklace. A simple gesture but it was very nice to have a pretzel to clean your pallet between tastings because none of the breweries provided anything like that on the tables for us. Bravo to this gesture. It is a wonderful way to take in some of the area and different sections of this great town.

This was one of the coolest little getaways we’ve had in a long time! We boarded a bus and went to 3 different Cleveland breweries: Platform, Market Garden, and Portside Distillery. Each stop brought a tasting of 4 unique beers. We spent about an hour at each location, and 90 minutes at Market Garden (where we also ate).

This is perfect for couples or large parties. The bus was full, about 20+ people. The tour guide told us about each location (2 near Westside Market, the Distillery in the Flats) and each brewery told us about the beers being served, along with the history of the brewery.

This was such a great adventure, well worth the wait! We’re definitely going to do this again! Oh, I almost forgot. There are 2 types of tickets: 1 gets you the drink samples & 1 does not. My wife isn’t the biggest fan of vast varieties of beer, so she got the other ticket. She still had a blast because we were at bars, so she just ordered mixed drinks. By the end of the night we even made some new friends!

Above all else, I haven’t been bar-hopping in Cleveland in years. To my great delight, the West Side Market area reminds me of Seattle about 12 years ago (I mean this in a good way). The people were friendly, the beers were excellent, and the brewery/bars are kept-up well and have great individual atmospheres. These aren’t your typical Ohio sports or dive bars, these bars have character!

Was a nice experience to visit the 3 breweries and not worry about driving through Cleveland. The breweries were all good quality and friendly. The experience was very pleasant. The bus driver was so nice and accommodating. We really appreciated that they were willing to pick us up at our hotel.
