- Ric ATurners Falls, Massachusetts68 contributionsVisit Progressive Field!Progressive field should be on any baseball fans bucket list. Comfortable seats, not a bad view in the park. Even if the Guardians (Indians) don't have a good team (they do this year) great seats will be available at pretty good prices. The FOOD! Oh My Gosh, the FOOD. You won't go hungry at Progressive Field. SO many choices and all Tasty! The stadium is easy to navigate and plenty of parking right next the ballpark. In center field there is a history of the team (lots of plaques). I had a blast at this ballpark!Visited June 2024Traveled with friendsWritten June 8, 2024
- RyanLodi, California151 contributionsBallpark Tour In ClevelandI really enjoyed the overall experience at Progressive Field. The view from our seats was really good. We were in section 457, but you could still see everything. The fans and the ushers were really helpful. The scoreboard there is easy to read. The only issue I had was with the food. The brats and the hot dogs are really small for the price. It was also really hot, so be sure and sit on the third base side for a night game. Overall, it was a great baseball experience.Visited June 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten June 21, 2024
- Tinyte13Merrick, New York664 contributionsBring your own foodWe had great field box seats the day of the game, four rows back. Section 138, great view. Very easy to walk to from the Residence Inn about 2 minutes. Tons of food vendors but you are actually allowed to bring your own food in too. My few complaints are it was very buggy at night and the bathrooms really need to be upgraded. They were comparable to the old bathrooms at Shea Stadium. Also we decided to get two bratwurst and the vendor asked if we wanted onions, peppers and sauerkraut, of course we said yes. Got maybe two half inch pieces of each. When I paid I realized they charged us an extra $5.50 for that. Very annoying. The brat only cost $7.50Visited July 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten July 3, 2024
- Kelly S5 contributionsGood park! Good fans! Fun downtown locationOverall not bad. Park is starting to get some age as it was one of the first ballparks with character. I want to say it was built sometime in the early 90s. So, the park has that character but not some of the amenities of the newer ones. There was construction going on when we went so we weren’t able to walk around to the front of the stadium. We are in the process of touring all the ballparks and at this point we’ve been to about 20 or so and I would put this one mid pack. Not a bad ballpark but nothing out of the ordinary that we saw. The newer waves of parks have large restaurant and bar areas outside of the stadium that enhances your experience. We found nothing like that like that here which is no big deal but we also didn’t find that in stadiums like Houston and Kansas City. Overall a very good experience. fans are very passionate and friendly which is common in baseball parks.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 25, 2024

We had tickets to an Indians game on our recent visit to Cleveland. The ballpark is very nice. We had seats on deck 5 behind home plate, first row and they were very good. We had to move to the top because the game was rain delayed and the only covering in the park (besides interiors) is at the very top of the stadium. The rain didn't last long and we moved back down to our seats. My only complaint was there were limited food options on the upper deck we were in. As with other major league ballparks, you are going to pay $$$ for a family (we paid almost $100 for the four of us for sodas, hot dogs and burgers and a bag of peanuts).

First, it’s nice to see people back at the ballpark. Was there the first night of “full capacity.” Felt normal. Consistent Progressive feel atmosphere. It does help when the Indians are playing well. Fireworks, $2 beers, and $1 dogs does help attract a better crowd, and adds to the overall excitement. Place really looked good. Also took in Saturday and Sunday games as well. Same feeling. Glad things are getting back to normal.

Sat in the club level seats on our visit to Progressive Field. These seats include all inclusive food and beverage. I was really impressed with the variety and quality of food offered. Plenty of options for kids including popcorn, pretzel bites, peanuts, and ice cream. Large seating area inside was air conditioned and allowed the kids to get out of the sun. There is limited shade in the stadium so bring sunscreen and a sun hat. Friday night fireworks were awesome and these seats offer an excellent view of the firework show. Great ballpark.

We had a great night at the ball park even though the Guardians lost 2-1. It had rained right before the game but our seats had been wiped down by personnel and were dry as can be. We sat in Section 458, Row C, Seats 14-15, between third base and home plate. Our sight line was great and we were close to rest rooms. We had hot hot dogs (not always hot in other experiences at other parks) at a fair price. The park was an easy walk from our downtown hotel. There were several promotional activities before and during the game and the fans were engaged and fun.

Visited Progressive Field for a weekend game vs Nationals and we might have come in on a bad day. It was a $2 beer day so the place was sold out and absolutely packed. The parking prices were exorbitant and there was not a lot of parking in the area so we had to walk 30 mins to get to the park, then we had to wait another 20 mins just to get in as there are only couple gates that funnel all the crowds in. The park itself had good atmosphere as pretty much everyone had 4-5 beers in them before national anthem. The lower bowl seats are not that great and we ended up trading with some people in the higher level. the higher level seats were much better. I think this stadium was not built for sell-outs.. line ups for everything are very long and the corridors were crowded. Because of the huge lineups, the food we ended up with was not good and towards the later part of the game many of the fans in the upper bowl were just drunk and annoying. Looking back at the pictures, the field does look great with all the seats filled, but in person it did feel like just a lot of concrete. We did have great weather, but ended up leaving early.

Very beautiful field. Had very good seats. Stadium seems cramped. Aisles are very narrow. We missed 2 1/2 innings of the game by going to retrieve some food!! We noticed the people in front of us left for a few innings and came back with food. Didn’t think much about it, but when we went to get food, we realized why they were gone so long. Long, slow lines at every single vendor!! We divided up and stood in different lines. Food vendor employees were very slow and inept. Like I said, it took us 2 1/2 innings to get our food. I was so disappointed. If you go, leave earlier than you expect so that you can deal with the long parking process. We thought we would really early and be able to look around before the game. They were singing the National Anthem while standing in security line to get in.

We enjoyed our visit to watch the Indians (soon to be Guardians) play.
The stadium itself is nice and clean. We set in section 134 and enjoyed the view. However the stadium is designed in such a manner that it looks like it’s a nice view from the upper decks
I strongly recommend you pre pay for a parking pass when you order tickets - the parking garage is safe and connected to the stadium

We were pleased to be able to catch a game the first night we rolled into Cleveland. You guys have a great stadium, right downtown, easy parking! The only minutes wasted were having to create a MLB online account and ordering tickets. We were waiting at the gate while screens reloaded and creating password etc... We were on the wrongside of the stadium , thought we could walk up to box-office and buy them quick.
The beer was good as well as the hotdogs! We will plan a return visit- getting our tickets lined up ahead of time.

The park was way more than we could have imagined. The Memorial area was beautifully done with lots of trees and plants providing shade and nature. There were SO many restaurants to choose from with a variety of different foods to choose from. Drinks were abundantly available. The walk to the Terrace Club was great with more historical info about the ball team. The staff was very friendly and helpful (shout out to Chris at the Terrace Club for his friendly tour). The in-game entertainment was fun and engaging, such as the hotdog derby and the singing challenges.
The baseball was good too!
Learned lots about the stadium and the team from frequent visitors sitting beside us.
We did take Ubers to and from as traffic was very busy and parking was expensive.
The fireworks at the end of the game was a ten minute display that blew us away. It was FANTASTIC! Do NOT miss the fireworks.
Our night was 10/10 and we can’t wait to go back!

Not especially, I'm a big guy, about 250 and I fit snugly in a seat but anyone over 300lbs is gonna be pretty squeezed. I'd recommend the bleachers if you think it will be an issue.

The restaurant is only open during the lunch hour in the off season. On game days the restaurant is open and a ticket is required in order to use the restaurant on game days.

Is there a seperate line for guests that don't have bags?
Written October 12, 2019
There used to be but not any longer. The only separate line is for season ticket holders.

Are there vendors selling t-shirts and hats outside of the stadium? if so, how are the prices. Son and I are coming in town for a game. Thanks!
Written July 23, 2019
Yes but you can find merch in the gift shop at really good prices as well.

Hi everyone.
I shall be travelling to Progressive field in July and have bought tickets in section 136 row gg. When buying I didn't realise there was an over hang and me and my partner would like to see the fireworks and the view. Kind of what we see on tv :-).
My question is, would we be better buying tickets in the club seats and putting our tickets on stubhub? Like I said the fireworks are important to us and it's a seriously long journey so it's gotta be right.

I agree with the other reviewers. You can move around after the game for a better view. Even maybe the upper deck straight across from the jumbo screen. There is enough time after the game to move. Your seats will be great for the game. Have a good trip & enjoy all that Cleveland has to offer!

I have a few questions about Club Level tickets. We are coming in April and this will be our first time sitting in these seats.
1.) What types of food should we expect? Is it basic ballpark items, or do they have some better quality items?
2.) I understand non-alcohol drinks are free. Can I assume that beers can be purchased without leaving club level?
3.) Does the club level lounge open the same time as the gates? Or earlier/later?
Thanks in advance!
