I like Cleveland. Been twice now. Good restaurants, nice people. Euclid Ave was right near our hotel so we walked at night to see the lights. There are what seems to be alot of homeless out at night. No one bothered us and walked back...More

Lots of restaurants and shops in this area of Euclid - Prospect and 9th in downtown Cleveland. The street is blocked off to traffic, so it is very walking friendly. We enjoyed looking around and having lots of restaurant choices for dinner.

Back in the day, this was the main street of downtown Cleveland, lined with grand movie palaces and huge department stores, with all sorts of shops, offices, and treat leading off of it. Well no longer, really not since the 50s. There still are some...More

From Public Square to at least 30th Street, this is the premier street where stuff is happening. It traverses through Playhouse Square which is the second largest theatre district in the nation after Broadway!! Just not to be missed. From restaurants to housing to a...More

It is improving. The theatre district is a great place to visit and they have great plays/shows here. It is still not as developed as Carnegie but it is getting there.

At one time this was the heart of Cleveland's downtown, a bustling center of work, shopping and movies. It declined and was dead for decades and now is being somewhat revived as a place for destination dining. Some of the restaurants are very good. A...More

This area is truly an exciting place for theater. There are many different offerings and people, young and old enjoy it. Not so sure about the chandelier, but it does add something to the approach on Euclid Avenue.

Definitely worth a drive-thru. Surprisingly, there is not much traffic in downtown Cleveland so it was easy to sightsee.

How cool is that a chandelier over the street. We stayed at The 9 and we went to dinner on Euclid. We didn't know what a cultural mecca Cleveland was, we would have stayed longer. We were glad to see this fascinating street. Stop and...More
