What an excellent experience! My son booked our tour with Scott, it was so easy. Very interesting tour visually and historically. My son just moved to downtown Cleveland in June, and I drive to Cleveland twice a month to visit him. The walking tour was easy, lasted two hours, but had frequent rest stops next to buildings or statues while Scott talked about their historical significance. We learned so much about Cleveland and it's history and people. And we saw so many things I had no idea were there! There are so many park areas in Cleveland, with big spacious lawns and gardens! The walking tour really spurred our quest to learn and see more. Scott was great, the tour was great, would highly recommend to everyone at any age, visitors and locals!! Thank you Scott!

Took in Tours of Cleveland walking tour of Downtown Cleveland on a great Saturday afternoon. Scott, O'Con provided interesting commentary as he led us through Public Square, the Mall and to Playhouse Square. He is knowledgeable mixing history with entertaining insights on those who made Cleveland the dynamic city it is today. We highly recommend spending the 2 hours with Scott when visiting Cleveland or even as residents to learn something new!

Fantastic tour!

My husband and I took the tales of terror Halloween tour last week and learned about terrifying TRUE events that took place in Cleveland over the last century. We are new to Cleveland and it’s a great way to get to know the city by walking with a guide and also to get to know the history of Cleveland. We highly recommend Tours of Cleveland and will definitely take another tour -Cleveland from the inside- when the buildings open back up.

The Best Tour in Cleveland

After researching the available tours of Cleveland, my boyfriend and I settled on Tours of Cleveland, LLC and are so happy we did. This is, by far, your best option. Not only is Scott friendly and accommodating but he packs the tour full of in-depth Cleveland history. We got more than our money's worth. Scott focused on the city, sharing interesting stories and answering every question we had. He even followed up with recommendations of other sights to see and restaurants to try. And as members of the LGBTQ community, we deeply appreciated how welcome and safe we felt with Scott. His love for Cleveland and his desire for its visitors to enjoy their time there are genuine and evident. We look forward to returning to Cleveland and taking another tour with Tours of Cleveland, LLC. Thanks so much, Scott!

Fascinating & Fun Tour!

This tour was fantastic!! Would highly recommend! We had visitors in from out of town, and all of us thought the info was very interesting. Scott is such a sociable guy, and we had fun asking him questions and hearing all of his stories along the way. He did a magnificent job weaving together historical facts with curious tales of Cleveland's lively characters. He also gave us great restaurant recommendations which we tried later for dinner (yum!). The 2 hours went quickly, but we covered a lot of ground downtown. All in all, I felt energized afterwards and excited to see more of the city (like Lake View Cemetery), as opposed to tired or bored. I'm definitely interested in the other tours offered by this company. Thanks for a great afternoon!!

History is in the Buildings!

Scott was a super guy in addition to being a great tour guide! He really shared how great of a city Cleveland is and it's great history. Even though due to COVID we were a very small group and keeping to the safety guidelines, Scott made time to do the tour that day while none was planned! We also got to have a more private tour with the few people we had! Thankfully the weather was great for a walking tour and highly recommend such a tour for downtown! I especially liked all the history of the city that Scott tied in well with so many of the buildings downtown. I'm an engineer in construction so very much enjoyed the buildings! I thoroughly loved the biggest Arcade we visited, amazing!
Was very cool also to hear that so many Marvel movie scenes were shot in the same places we were walking!

Excellent experience!

Visiting Cleveland for the weekend, we decided to do a tour to get a better appreciation for the city. Scott was beyond helpful In explaining the history and making us feel as if we lived there with how much knowledge he provided. He also went above and beyond to take pictures for us and send them during these tough times of covid 19. I'd definitely recommend taking the tour with Scott to anyone who visits Cleveland!

Great Introduction to CLE

This is an amazing tour for an overview (and more) of downtown Cleveland. Scott was incredibly knowledgeable about the city. You can tell he's done not only a ton of research but also truly has an appreciation for the city and its history. This was the perfect tour to start off my stay in Cleveland!

Great Tour, Great Guide!

Our party of 5 just completed a Downtown Highlights tour with Scott this past Saturday. We are long time Cleveland residents and have done downtown walking tours before, so we are not easy to impress. Scott did a great job and we learned a few things about our city as well. Scott kept things moving and had lots of interesting tidbits to share without dwelling too long on any one topic or spending too much time in any one place. Clearly, Scott has done his research on city history and lore. Scott is also very personable and easy to chat with while walking. We will definitely be scheduling the "Cleveland from the Inside" tour with Scott!

Must Experience

There is so much history worth learning about, even if you've heard it before. From Public Square to the Playhouse, Cleveland is rich with architectural structures and stories to go with them. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. I can't wait to participate in another tour.
