In my 3 years in Cleveland I've probably been here at least 10 times (thank goodness Case students get in free). This museum is well laid out in a circle, starting with astronomy and moving through geology and chemistry then biology (dinosaurs and other fossils!), then cultures around the world. The new outdoor addition provides a home to local rescued... More

I have always enjoyed the Cleveland Museum scene, but the Natural History museum has always been my favorite. I loved the exhibits when I was a child, but I have appreciated them more as an adult. I have attended several of the Think and Drink with the Extinct series, which allows those of drinking age entrance after hours to experience... More

We took our 4 youngest kids today (11, 9, 9 & 3) and they seemed to enjoy themselves. One of the curators we came across was very helpful in telling us some of the histories of the dinosaurs on display and was very knowledgeable. The upstairs was closed off so we weren't able to see those exhibits but the main... More

New additions and changes have been completed. Enjoyed exploring and finding all the new stuff. The earthquake simulator attracted met my the rumbling sounds. Feeling the simulation of the earth shaking.was thought provoking. Outside is the new rescue park and live coyotes, bobcats, eagles, otters and other close up views of wild animals. Overall an excellent use of our afternoon.

Had all the regular suspects, dinosaurs. Balto the sled dog that saved Gnome Alaska...etc. But the crown jewel is the rescue park (Perkins) with coyotes and eagles and much more. Each exhibit tells how the animal arrived and why it could not survive in the wild. a real treat!

Loved this place! Exhibits are great for all ages! Beautiful displays of animal life and amazing dinosaur display. One unique feature is the Wade gallery of crystals--featuring everything from quartz to diamonds!

The Cleveland Natural History Museum is a good museum. The exhibits are decent and the presentation of the material is interesting. It's really fun for the little ones because there is a lot for them to see including the planetarium. Be aware that the museum is going through a capital improvement program that will modernize and enlarge the museum. After... More

As a longtime member, I love the Natural History part of the museum and I especially love the planetarium. This is a GREAT way to spend a few hours! Well worth the admission. If you check the schedule you can do maybe 90 minutes or two hours of walking around then time it with a show in the planetarium.

I have not been there for years and was so surprised at the changes. The staff was helpful and friendly. The new outdoor area is amazing. It is hard to believe it is in the city. There is much to see and read. Wear good walking shoes and bring the kids. They will love it. Plan to stay most of... More
