Had a wonderful day at the Cleveland Zoo. $12 to get in. Unfortunately, no senior or student discounts. Wonderful, large area to take in all of the animals. We took some great pictures! Make sure you wear comfortable shoes; lots of walking! There was a tram you could use to get around to visit each habitat. Thus was one of... More

The Cleveland Zoo is a great place to walk any time of the year. The animals and grounds are very clean and well maintained. I am always impressed with what this place has to offer visitors: excellent indoor and outdoor exhibits of plants and wildlife in natural-like settings, as well as a wide variety of family activities, food and beverages,... A well planned, beautifully maintained landscape spreading the animals in a huge property! Great for the animals and pleasant experience for their visitors. Because of the lush greeneries separating the animals, I certainly appreciate not getting the foul stench that is common to other zoos. If you're planning to visit, consider these notes: *Be ready with a comfy walking shoes... More

The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is one of the nicest in this area! There are lots of animals to view and the park is huge.....if you are not into a lot of walking, the tram is available to take you around to each of the areas. The tropical Rainforest was a great experience too.

My son and I recently visited the Cleveland Zoo. It was very, very nice. There are many animals spread out in a fairly large zoo in my opinion. The exhibits were clean as was the zoo itself. Loved the carousel which didn't have any horse, but had many of the zoo animals. My choice to ride, of course, was the... More

We enjoyed this zoo very much. There seemed to be a lot of walking, but the animal exhibits are very interesting.

We were in Cleveland for only 2 days. Asked the teens to review 'things to do' in Cleveland and they voted the zoo over the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. So we didn't have intentions on going but went and glad we did. This zoo is awesome. The habitats for the animals are very nice for the animals with... More

Only 2 exhibits did not have animals. This was a terrific zoo! Free parking and easy to maneuver. Even with the crowds you did not feel overwhelmed. All of the staff were very friendly and the exhibit speakers were terrific. Crowd interaction was fantastic. I would recommend packing lunches, snacks and water as those items may be pricy for folks... More

We took our youth group to the zoo this past week and we were very excited. We have been to this zoo before and loved it. This time the prices were higher and the place was trashier. The monkey cages were completely trashed with the the trash they gave them to play with. It looked horrible. But my buggiest complaint... More

We have been to zoo's all over the country, so we are not so interested in the elephants and tigers. What we enjoyed most at this zoo was the Naked Mole Rat colony, located in the elephant crossing building and the Anteaters in the Rainforest exhibit. There is also an armadillo exhibit, but one of the employees said they are... More
