I loved the knowledge of the owner on the people who started different aspects of Wicca, Covens people from the history of the occult . A must visit for anyone who is interested in the history and who practices whatever kind of witchcraft you choose.
Has many items in the gift shop which are of good quality and fairly inexpensive to other places.
I could spend a few days just looking at everything.

What an interesting little museum filled with all kinds of cool stuff. The proprietor, Stephen, makes the visit all the more enjoyable - with his quirky enthusiasm and interesting stories and asides. The ambiance is truly on point. It made for a wonderful jump start to our vacation. Definitely worth a visit, and doesn’t break the bank. Free off street parking in the back of the building.

"Don’t let the demon out of the box!" Box is no longer on display. Long story, if you pop in some time I'll tell it to you. Thanks for the kind words!

We had a reservation to tour the museum, part of a very small group. Steven was delightful and knowledgeable. We all made interesting connections through art, music, and the history of the occult. I've never seen a carved mandrake root-- couldn't help thinking of John Donne's poem, "Go and Catch a Falling Star." They sell many interesting things and have a nice selection of stones/ gemstones, with good explanations of their powers. We all enjoyed our visit thoroughly.

The museum is in a small little building. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate. They love to share the collection and knowledge they have. Currently advance ticket purchase is required. This is easily done online. Tour size is limited.

I thoroughly enjoyed our trip there. They have books, Crystals , power stones. Different knives, robes, artwork. The director was very knowledgeable, fun, and had a fantastic speaking voice. He answered any questions. We were there for a séance. Boy oh boy, it was interesting. Not like you see in the movies. It was a special event. I’m a believer! I was able to cross it off my bucket list. I really enjoyed it and my husband did too. The director did stop us and say thanks for visiting. He was very kind. Go visit!

Small but mighty.
This store/museum we visited with our family this summer. I enjoyed the rich history and well educated tour guide.
It’s a very small place. But don’t let that fool you because it’s very interesting and fun to visit.
My entire family enjoyed it. Kids and teens alike. Even my husband thought it was cool.
Would recommend.

My husband and I were travelling for our 17th wedding anniversary and got the chance to book an appointment to see the Buckland Gallery. It was our number one destination while we were in Cleveland and we were *not* disappointed!

The curator is great at making the collection relatable to all people, as well as answering questions and giving fun insider information. I've been practicing witchcraft for 20 years now, so I easily recognized the names and works that were described, but my husband is not as familiar, yet he enjoyed the tour as much as me.

Everything is very well preserved, even the items that were damaged from a previous site/caretaker. Though the space is small, the whole of it is utilized to tell the ambitious story of Raymond Buckland and his travels in the occult world. The feeling is rather like being let into a friend's secret ritual room filled with mysterious objects; it's a real thrill!

P.S. Be sure to pick up one of their logo buttons on the way out--very cool looking, and they glow in the dark. :)

This is a very unusual and interesting museum in the heart of Cleveland. It is small, but worthwhile. It's not open many hours per week because it is run by a couple who have full-time jobs, but it is worth the effort to go there. The musuem is one room of an old storefront full of artifacts collected by Buckland, a Wiccan who practiced witchcraft in America in the 20th century. The curator gave a good description of his work and how the artifacts ended up in Ohio. While we were there some Wiccans came in and they were excited by what they saw. If you like the small funky museums you will love this place. There are wands, chalices, knives, tarot cards, Ouija boards, ceremonial clothing, paintings, books, and even a box with a demon in it. In additon there are pop culture movie posters and artifacts related to witches and witchcraft. A fascinating place!

Don't let the small size of the museum discourage you from visiting. From kitschy 60's fortune telling games to fascinating historic relics from very well known architects of modern paganism, it covers a lot of modern witchcraft and occult history. The curators were fabulous and engaging. Worth a stop if you are in the Cleveland area.

A small but amazing exhibit of interesting artifacts from occult and witchcraft culture! We were graciously attended by Steven (owner) whose humor and knack for storytelling made our visit memorable. Housed in a century-old building, the museum is a great introduction to Wicca and the religious supernatural.
