I was very impressed by Cleveland Taxi Limo, from the front desk person Renee to my driver Olga. This operation is professionally run with a small town flair. Sure, Cleveland is a big city. But these folks operate their business with a personal flair that is too often missing in our fast paced world. I highly recommend this limo service. They said they would be early and they were (along with text messaging to let me know they were on the way). The driver waited for me to say my farewells, loaded my luggage, adjusted the car temperature to my preference, had water available for the drive and got me right to my gate. Cleveland Taxi Limo is untrustworthy and unreliable. I had a horrible experience renting a party bus for my July 2021 wedding. With so many great options in the Cleveland area, I would definitely use another company.
After several attempts to address the issue below, I was offered a partial refund only if I didn't leave a bad review. I believe the reason this company doesn't have more negative reviews is because they are threatening to withhold money (which btw is illegal under the Consumer Review Fairness Act).
The air on the party bus was broken, blowing hot air instead of AC. It was so miserable that everyone tried their best not to move while we were traveling and preferred to wait off the bus in the hot, humid July weather when we were stopped. The company claimed that the bus was checked ahead of being rented out, but clearly it wasn't. The individual I spoke with said it was caused by the doors and windows being open, but it quite literally was blowing hot air. The bus driver called the company, but told us there was nothing they could do.
Afterwards, I called the company to ask for a refund. Alex, the company owner, told me that we would not get a refund because we used the bus the whole time. We didn't pay for a broken bus, and we didn't have much of a choice with our party size and tight wedding pictures schedule. Then, he claimed we wouldn't get a refund because we never called the day of even though I watched and listened to our bus driver call for us. At one point he blamed the bus driver (who works for Cleveland Taxi Limo?). As I mentioned, they eventually offered me a partial refund. Then they revoked the partial refund unless I agreed not to post a bad review.
All of my wedding vendors were amazing. Even when they made errors, they addressed them appropriately. I'm sure the company will respond to this and try to spin the situation to make it look like it was my fault or not their fault. Please don't trust Cleveland Taxi Limo for your event when there are so many other great alternatives in the area.

The vehicle that you reserved on November 20, 2019, via an online reservation, showed up at the exact address location and at the time where you requested it to be on July 16, 2021. Per our log and vehicle GPS/cameras the chauffeur was on location at 11:45 am, 15 minutes early.
Your complaint has absolutely nothing to do with being “untrustworthy” or “unreliable”. On August 3, 2021, almost 3 weeks later, we received your call to our office. You stated that you were disappointed with your service on July 16, because it seemed to be warmer in the bus than you would have liked it to be. You stated that if we did not return ALL of your money, that you were going to write bad reviews. The reality is this, it was 85 degrees outside with 75% humidity on that day. You had 24 people in full formal dress wedding attire packed in a limo bus that we describe as realistically seating 22 people comfortably.
According to the vehicle GPS/cameras you made many stops in relatively short distances opening and closing the vehicle door while getting in and out of the bus after standing outside in the heat and humidity at peak time of the day. Any vehicle would have trouble remaining cool under those conditions. You never called our office on that day and never expressed any displeasure with the vehicle or the chauffeur. Actually, it was quite the opposite. You were so upset on that day that you not only paid the standard chauffeur gratuity, but you also gave him an extra tip of $100 in cash.
There was absolutely nothing done wrong on our end so we decided against any type of refund. We called you and let you know of our decision. You then stated “But all our other wedding vendors gave us some money back when we complained”. We do not cave to threats, extortion or blackmail of any kind. Please keep in mind that we have digital and written record of our performance that day and we record every single call that comes into our office.

Cleveland Taxi Limo is the Best!!! We can always count on them to take us to the airport. they are ALWAYS on time, mostly 15 min early, and always gets us to the airport on time. Especially those early flights!! We know we can count on them for transportation whenever we need them. L and B in Orange Village

I was extremely happy with the level of service provided & I highly recommend them. They proactively confirmed our reservation multiple times & provided the name of our driver several days before our departure. I had piece of mind knowing that they hadn’t forgotten about us. The limo was clean & the driver was courteous & professional.

I usually wouldn't post a negative review, but the company sent me an email requesting a review. I used this service numerous times for travel to/from the airport and tipped generously. I'm only 16 minutes away. The last time I ordered a vehicle, my flight was delayed and they were unable to accommodate me. I was confused because I believed they tracked your flight for departures, but it's only for arrivals. Ok, y'all got me with that. However, the customer "service" person on the phone was rude AF despite me being really nice. So buyer beware. If your flight is delayed you'll still be charged 80+ dollars for a departure. Now I just order an Uber and it costs $20.

We reviewed the calls from you. we couldn't find a call where our CS staff was rude to you.
We are a reservation based service. If you book at a time for pick up we will be there 100% be there on time. If you switch your time will do our best to accommodate you. We might be booked at that time. We are not a on demand service.
I looked at the order. You wanted to change the time when our Chauffeur was on the way. Most airlines recommend you arrive when your flight original time.

You can count on text message updates, courteous service at competitive rates. Driver arrives early, you know who it is. Round trip service works out just as well. The best ride in town.

We had an international group with us in Cleveland back in September, and both of our drivers were incredibly friendly, and most importantly, on time and very reliable. Our schedule ended up being a bit more fluid than expected, and our drivers over our 3 days were always flexible and knew exactly where to take us. When I originally booked my vehicle, I booked the wrong vehicle for the number of people that I had in my party. Alex called me to let me know that the vehicle I had reserved would not comfortably fit my party. He then helped me book a vehicle that would fit my party. The company did not have that vehicle available for the day that I needed it. Alex called around and made sure that I got the vehicle I needed for the price that I wanted. The vehicle arrived on time and was very nice on the inside. I could not have been any happier with the service I received. I definitely recommend Cleveland Taxi Limo to someone looking for wedding transportation.

I have used CLE Taxi Limo more than 2 times now and every time they do not disappoint and I know I can count on a great experience. The rides are so nice. The drivers are engaging, friendly. accommodating and i couldnt recommend this company any more. I am from Chicago and use them for business events when i come to CLE. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

Incredibly easy to make and confirm the reservation online. Excellent follow through communication with timely text message updates. Olga, our driver arrived 10 minutes prior to our requested departure time and was highly professional.

Horrible experience, received a quote, requested service, notified I would receive confirmation if available, received confirmation of the pick up/car. I then receive a phone call asking me for my flight information, once I gave my flight information the caller said O by the way the car you reserved is not available the only thing available is an additional $30.00. When I said I had a confirmation with the original price they said they do not know how I received that (I emailed them a copy) and if I wanted service it was $30.00 more. I have traveled around the world and have used many car services and have never been treated this way. An honorable company would honor the original quote/confirmation. This company blames the customer and wants them pay for their mistake. Buyer beware!

The Sedan he ordered was sold out. We don't have an unlimited amount of cars. We call around to our partners to see if we could accommodate the request for a sedan. We couldn't find anyone who had availability. We offer him a SUV which was available that was $15 more. We didn't force him to take the SUV. We were upfront with him. We tried our best to accommodate him .He could of declined the the SUV. There was no Bait and switch.

Hi Mary,
The short answer is yes. But unlike Lyft or Uber, you must make arrangements in advance. I generally make my arrangements as soon as I know I am going to need them. Also unlike the above ride share services, these are professional drivers who work for CTL, not a contractor, which means they are there for You. Making arrangements is easy online, just fill in the blanks so to speak. Though you can call, but on line is easier. If you have not use such a service , please treat yourself (generally no one else will- just kidding) you will not be sorry. Prices are reasonable, have been using them for years and gave at least 6 or more rides already scheduled for this year. Hope this helps.

To my knowledge they are off I480, so Rocky River is not a problem. If you need local transportation they can accommodate almost any need. They will even take and wait for you at Blossom. They will accommodate you with several stops if that is what you need. I use them when I have time to schedule them and I don't want to drive. I am always happy with the service, and even have several rides scheduled as I am writing you this reply.
