Peaceful Place
Jul 2020 • Family
Beartown has several picnic shelters to reserve. We were at one of the smaller (6 picnic tables) and the largest shelter was used for a graduation party. Lots of grassy space for games, trails, and a lake to walk around or fish. Adequate parking and restroom facilities.

A walk in the woods

Great place to walk year around and if you have a dog it is extra special. There's a lake for fishing or a good dog swim.

Love this park!

This is a great multi purpose park! Walk, fish, sled and cross country ski. I walk my dog here several times per week. I like the different trail lengths that can be a short walk or longer if you combine them. The trails are well maintained and well marked with pond and forest views. Restrooms available and a picnic pavilion.

Beartown Lakes

This small park is part of the Geauga County park system. It is a great place to go for a leisure walk on one of the trails, or to have a picnic with family/friends. There are 2 lakes that have access for fishing.

Nice place to walk

This is a pretty place to take a short walk on a nice spring or fall day. There is a picnic area. We saw a lot of different birds. And one deer.

Great place to fish!
Jul 2017 • Family
This park is such a great place to come with a family! In the summer, there is great fishing, hiking, and space to play. In the winter, the sled hill rocks! Overall a great, fun place.

Take a walk
Jun 2017 • Couples
Nice park to take a walk around the water and/or through the woods. We visit periodically through the year. Geauga Parks had one of their geo cache's there a year or so ago which we did with the family. We found the cache and had fun doing it.

Fun Walk
Jan 2017 • Couples
We usually visit here in the fall or winter because it is an easy and fairly quick walk through the woods and around the lake on short days. It is scenic in the fall as others have noted. It is worth a visit.
