Friends and I had dinner here and the service was terrible, and the food was average. I don’t necessary blame the staff as much as I do the ownership and management because it’s completely understaffed. The food took over an hour and much of it was served lukewarm or cold. There were six in our party and only 4 of us were served and that took about 60+ minutes, two of us received our dinners 20 to 30 minutes after theirs. Some of our dinners were ok but my burger looked like a frozen patty that had been cooked to death even though I asked for medium to medium rare. It took forever to get drinks because the waitress was the bartender as well. This place should think about hiring more staff or give up the food side of things and just serve drinks. It was completely ridiculous to have one waitress and one cook for was about 50+ customers in the place. I will say that the blues band that was playing was very good. We will not be back soon.

A very cozy place with great entertainment! This establishment has a wonderful selection of alcohol and the food looked amazing.

We went because we wanted a place with music that we could dance. The band was great and they have a dance floor. The fact that we could eat was just going to be a convenience. It was a great convenience. We both got the Salmon and it was excellent, as good as I have ever had. I recommend it for food and dance.

We went here to listen to some music, and grab dinner. Our 1st time. The place was clean and safe. Our concern was safety since this was once a bad area. Service was a down fall. Not too the fault of the one person who serviced the bar and the entire restaurant. She (April) really did her best. The owner should have more staff on a Friday night, especially when a live band is scheduled to play. Perhaps there were call offs, I will give it the benefit of the doubt this time. The alcohol sales and food could have doubled, if there were more staff. As a customer, I felt bad ordering because the one waitress/bartender was almost breaking out into a sweat and was on full sprint. We ordered cheeseburgers that were just okay, nothing special. Which would make me apprehensive to order anything more elaborate. We will definitely try this place again, hopefully there will be more service staff. Coming from a F & B background, a bartender and 2 wait staff at minimum would be needed to adequately staff a weekend night.

My husband, a friend, and I went there on a Saturday night to listen to some music and have a couple drinks. After having some food and a couple drinks, I asked the server to bring me two fruity "foofoo" shots, one for me and one for my friend. She comes back with two shots in actual shot glasses. The server says "This is a pink lemonade. It's vodka, sour mix and cranberry." We drank them and they tasted like juice. I politely complained to the server that the bartender didn't give us each a full shot. The server directed me to the bartender. I politely gave the same complaint to the bartender. She told me if I wanted a full shot of liquor mixed with other ingredients, I should have ordered a mix drink. She stomped away like a toddler and proceeded to get the owner. The owner comes over to talk to me. I, again, was very calm and polite. He listens to my complaint then asks me, "So, you don't want to pay for the two shots." I say, "I'm sorry, but no. I didn't get a full shot of liquor in each shot." He says, "Ok, then I'm going to call the police." I was floored! I said, "Are you being serious? This is the worst customer service I've ever received and we won't be back. He said, "Good. I don't want you back." I was jaw to the floor shocked. We paid the bill and IMMEDIATELY left. The very sad part is it was 9:30-9:45 at night and we were the only customers in there. He pissed off his only paying customers. Also, the good was not that great (typical bar food) and it took over a half hour to get a salad, jalapeno poppers, and French fries. About 10 minutes after we ordered, we proceeded to watch the server bring a plate of fries to another employee and they stuffed their face while we waited on our food. Remember, we were the only people in the place aside from the band. It was HORRIBLE!
