I absolutely love the Canton Palace Theatre ! It is historical, economical and beautiful ! I went there as a little girl and saw The Sound of Music. I never forgot it. Life goes on, I moved away from North Canton for 33 years. When I came back I saw a few things and always loved being in the theatre... More

Loved the memories of the old theaters. Has been restored beautifully to it's original glory. Pipe organ that rises from the stage and someone actually plays it. The sound is gorgeous. Has a balcony and main floor seating. Small and quaint in comparison to today's mega theaters. No recliners and seating is a bit tight. Enjoy a different evening out!

If you are in Canton and like movies or dance you need to see this place! It's a fully restored 1920s theater that's designed as a Roman amphitheater only completely indoors. The ornate decor is enough reason to go, but then you see the ceiling which is designed to be the nighttime sky with moving clouds, birds and stars. Kids... More

This is a beautiful site, with scrolling clouds in the ceiling and a historic organ on a rising platform. None of that would really matter, though, if the staff didn't always seem so happy to be there. The organist may be the happiest man I have ever seen when he's playing. The ushers all clearly love being there. When I... More

Historic theater where you step back in time with an atmosphere of yesteryear. Unlike todays cinemas this place is a theater with a balcony and band pit. Weekly movies and special events are held here. The popcorn is awsome.

Do not miss a trip to this theater, whether it is for an art film, a Hollywood hit movie, a concert or show, the ballet, etc... For perspective, it is an Eberson atmospheric theater in style of Spanish courtyard. Make sure to look up at the ceiling. And look for the giraffes in the arch. They harken to the financier... More

This is a great historic theater! I danced on this stage for many years, as a member of the Canton Ballet. Now I'm back, but as a spectator. I've seen movies here too, as well as live music events such as the Pink Floyd Tribute Band, Wish You Were Here. This is an AWESOME venue!

The Canton Palace Theatre is a beautiful old theater in the heart of Canton and the perfect place to enjoy a movie, concert, or special event. The movies shown on their big screen are even better than the modern theaters and its almost half the price! Concessions are open during events, sometimes including alcohol, and the prices are awesome! The... More

We went to the Palace Theatre in November for an Amy Grant concert. We had balcony seats and still felt like we had great seats. The decor inside is beautiful and he seats were comfortable. Volunteer ushers were very friendly and helpful.
