The last time I was at the front door, which is just around the corner, no access. The inside looks terrible. The outside looks horrible. The surrounding building is terrific while this part looks unkempt.

I went here expecting to take a step back in time, and man was I right. It's not every day that you can walk into a business, that is almost exactly as it was over 100 years ago. This place has the old wood floors, the vintage building facade, and the long out dated single shaft power system that runs every machine in it. They are powered by really wide belt's, made of leather I believe. The products are still made today, exactly as they were on day one, by one man. And he really enjoys giving the tour to anyone willing to listen. They are by appointment, so make sure to be responsible, and call ahead. The downtown is vibrant, and very interesting. Great food, great people, and a neat little experience all together. Thanks for keeping an American Icon alive!

Drove over an hour to check out this place. Very, very disappointed. First off the building is old and dilapidated, secondly it was closed. (Maybe for good reason) Not even sure if they are still in business.?? In looking trough glass doors it appears that the machinery is vintage early 1900's. Please call ahead if you plan to visit.
