When window-shopping the day before (because the store had closed before we got there), we were under the impression that this was (probably) a fairly authentic representation of an old-time general store.
Boy, were *we* wrong.
It's not a bad little place, but it really is not much more than a shop for tourists looking for souvenirs. Postcards. Puzzles. Amish farmer hats. Fancy night lights. Etc.

Beautiful and clean and well stocked for any treasures you might be looking for. From old toys, to food items and the best coffe you can buy, excellent selection of cards and gifts for the whole family. The Candles and home decor are so beautiful and displayed so well. Gives you great ideas for decorating.

Nice little general store with plenty of merchandise!!!! Great variety of items for you to purchase!!! This is a must see when visiting Berlin!!!

We were in Holmes County & Berlin for an overnight stay. This store had a sign, “Masks or No Masks All Are Welcome” which goes against the state mandate for masks. We left as we did not feel safe. Actually we left the area period as the Amish and Mennonites do not wear masks. This was confirmed by the County Board of Health.

Great general store & had free popcorn to enjoy! Lots of interesting gifts. Prices were good. Great for moms & boys.

20 yrs or so ago, this was a really nice store with unique items that you would find in an old general store. Now they just have the usual tourist trap store selection, not really worth the stop anymore.

This place had a lot of selection and I really enjoyed checking out the puzzle selection. Fun to look through. Not just typical "hand-made crafts' and signs.

The store had a few Amish Country souvenirs, but also puzzles, toys, games, camping cookware, and kitchen gadgets.

Books, gadgets, toys, cards coffee- a little bit of everything. A lot more fun than fighting the crowds in the big store across the street and prices are more reasonable than other places in Berlin. Street no longer goes through on east side of store, so you have to go around to the side street to the west to get to the free city parking lot behind (south side) of the building.

This is a great old time General store. I like to buy the old fashioned pop in a bottle. The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
