Picked this winery to stay for my visit op the Vipava valley. Very nice clean rooms in an old building of the Zorz vineyard. Anja is a great host who speaks more languages then they have wines :-). I had a wind tasting here the first evening and they have some nice wines. All biological’

Coincidence brought us to this lovely spot. We were surprised by the lovely host, who made us feel very welcome despite not reserving a table. She knows a lot about wine and recommends the best ones according to your taste. If you want to taste local wine in a truly authentic environment, this is a place for you!

Aside from a great winetasting (ditto everything other reviewers have said), we also stayed in their newly designed rooms for 2 nights. Anja Zorz welcomed us to their family run winery and with great pride, explained more about Slap and the Vipava Valley. In addition to sampling Zorz wines, she gave us great recommendations for other wineries to visit (and called to organize), as well as fabulous dinner recommendations. Her husband/winemaker Jerne and brother-in-law Andre added to our very personalized and enthusiastic interactions throughout our stay. The rooms were surprisingly modern and we were very happy to have bar soap, body lotion and shampoo (not always provided in Slovenia/Croatia). Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. My favorite place so far in our trip, I loved the interaction with and the passion of the locals!!

We just had the best afternoon here :-) A big plus to start with is that Anja is on top of her e-mail, you will get a (superfriendly!) reply in no time. Offcourse the wine tasting itself is what it’s all about, and that was just one big plus all together! Anja is really nice and super enthusiastic! She knows a lot, tells stories about the family business and also gives you a little time “by yourself” to enjoy the wine. We used that time to chat with other guests as well, always nice to meet people from all over the world. The wines were really good and she was certainly not sparesom with pouring ;-) Would totally recommend this Winery!

My friend and I loved the wine tasting! It’s in a great setting and you get a plate of food to enjoy with your wine. Anja is wonderful - giving you lots of information about the wine and also providing time in between each so that you can relax and enjoy the wine. I bought some bottles for the rest of our journey, but wish I could take more home with me!
