About
Our wine house is located in Slap near Vipava, next to the village square in the middle of the nucleated settlement in the heart of Vipava Valley. Join us for a tasting of our storyteller wine collection. Guests will be guided on a tour of the exquisite winery grounds, showing you the property in the middle of the nucleated settlement of a small mediterranean village of Slap, All while being regaled with the stories behind these coveted selections. Feel free to call us!

Had a private tour with Matej and his wife he was very informative. All 4 wines (2 white, 1 red, 1 rose) and the cognac tasted great! The snacks (cheese, prosciutto, bread and jam) we’re home made and very tasty and well displayed. Matej gave us the history of the winery dating back to 1680 all within their family. Would highly recommend!

Very nice and local winery. We tasted 5 wines and a cognac and was served delicious home made delicasies which fullfilled the experience! Very delicious!

We arranged our tour through Kamp Tura and it was more than we had asked for. A lovely tour by a pleasant guide, great wines and local food. Our guide also shared the history of the region and the history of winemaking in Slap. Well worth a visit!

First wine tasting in Slovenia.....did not know what to expect....2 hours later..about 10 wines + a visit to the cellar for the red wines + food for an army. I have done tastings in at least 5 countries and this was the best experience ever. Please go and visit this winery and see my friend Matej who will take you on a 340 year history of Slovenian wine making. Na zdravje!!!!!

Slap is a darling little town holding a wonderful winery. Matej was a great host serving good stories and history along with good wine and food. We loved learning what is unique about Slovenian wine and its culture. We had a very enjoyable afternoon and this was one of the best parts of our trip to Slovenia.

We had an awesome afternoon thanks to Matej and his wife! We had great wines, nice food and a great time overall.
Matej’ enthusiasm was both informative and entertaining. And apart from the wines we learned a lot of the Slovenian history, the process of wine making and the importance of heritage in all of this. Matej was very well capable of transferring his pride and enthusiasm into the wines and onto his guests.
Highly recommended!

Great experience, great wines and super great local food. Matej Rondic was a super nice guide, he told us about the history of slovenien wines and wine-making and showed us their wine cellar. We arranged visit by mail, Matěj answered very quickly. And for czech tourists - Matěj speaks czech and very well! Thank you, Matěj and good luck. Marie+Stan

We had an amazing time visiting Rondic.
It was really easy to communicate with then and set an appointement.
The host was sweet, funny, taking time to explain everything to us. He is passionate about wine.
Having a video / history about slap and where the wine come from was a real plus. The cellar is so unique.
The wines that we tasted where very good. The food they paired with was also amazing( homemade proscuitto, can we ask anything more?)
We had a very good time. Thanks again for everything.
We recommand this place to anyone visiting Slovenia. 10/10
